Thanks for the well wishes fellas. I assumed BigBurk was giving me love, but one never knows...I knowyou guys who have to look up the page on your cells, scrolling through so much shiznit can be a pain. If LTA leaves us, NO!, I will gladly put up threads when I am able to for discussion and info gathering.

Slick Rick, every time I see your name in my head I hear " Slicka-Slick-Rick--Slick-ta-Slick-Rick" and then Dougie Fresh doing a beat box . Not sure if that is the inspiration though. I do live in the D.R., Santiago. Shoot me a p.m. next time you are gonna be down here we can definitely hook up for a drink or 10.

They are running a pretty rag-tag lineup out there, but they have positive mojo going fort hem. I am surprised the Nat's line hasn't steamed more atm. Anyone who bet the under when I posted Wright was out earlier is gonna get great value. I will be pulling for you apurvaas, gonna have to scratch and claw for this one.

Yeah, that Met lineup is gonna have to be scrappy tonight. I feel you on the S.D. under, No Justin Upton btw for Zona....and although I peg Volquez to rebound this year, just not sure how much I trust him yet. GL if you play it.

              Devil Rays/Tigers under (8.5)(+100) 1x (Locked)

I know rapuano is the ump and the wind is blowing out, but the tigers have never faced moore who is a certified stud and porcello tends to keep the ball down with a GB/FB generally above 1.5. Plus, according to the hard ball times study, there is no true wind effect at tigers stadium. I think the over is too easy in this one and the under hits. Good luck.
              Play #2

              Royals ML (-103) 1x (Locked)

I should have locked this in last night at plus odds, but I will take a shot here at -103 as there is still about 10 cents of value. I have KC set around -113 and I think their offense has a nice game tonight after getting shut out last night. Even though Godfrey has the unfamiliarity factor working, I don't think that will be enough tonight against a clear cut superior lineup. Duffy is set to improve this season and seems to have figured out some control problems this spring. Based on the value, better SP and lineup, I am rolling with the Royals for 1x. Good luck.

Agree - don't see the royals bats staying quiet twice in a row vs this oak a's team. Plus, they don't strike out much and there's a lot of field behind Godfrey for those balls to drop. Good luck man.

I think he settles down tonight after that jittery start. Cahill is an under machine but has been under the radar for a while. Last I looked it is predicted to be cold and dull so hopefully the ball will be a bit heavier than usual. I'm starting to really warm to this play, wouldn't be surprised by a 4 2 dbacks score line, if volquez can hold them to 4, then I love my chances as I think Cahill shuts them down. GL tonight

I like this play as well. The under has a high chance of hitting. I have this game set at 5.4 giving us over a run of value. The time to be this was this morning at plus money, but I can still get -110 so I'm going to play this as well. Good luck.

                            Diamondbacks/Padres under (6.5) 1x (Locked)

Most of the market is going to close at -115 or more so I will still beat the closer at -110 even though the best time to bet this was earlier in the day at plus money. Not as much value, but I think this is a great spot for the under with a guy like Cahill with elite GB/FB numbers in a big park against a light hitting Padres team. Plus without Upton, the Dbacks lineup is just a bit weakened, although still formidable for Volquez. However, I agree with Red with respect to Volquez's predicted improvement this season. I have this game set at 5.4 and it's going to take a final score of 7 to beat us so I am rolling with the under for 1x. Good luck.

Uh oh....I think that late under was a "sharp" play, but both Volquez and Cahill are struggling right out of the gate.

jeez stinks this game is a 2-2 game....unlike hockey where the next goal typically wins and this favors under backers.....in baseball they could win on a run homerun

                                                  MLB 2012 Regular Season 4/11/2012

                                                  Play #1

                                                  Devil Rays/Tigers under (7)(+100) 1x (Locked)

While I do expect a regression for Shields, he is much better than he displayed against the Yankees. For the season, I think we can expect a season similar to what he had in 2008 with a 3.5 ERA and 3.7ish SIERA. For this game, I think he pitches well and bounces back from that Yankee outing. Verlander is pretty much on autopilot already so there's no reason not to expect a solid performances. The wind should not be a factor but the weather will be cold and wet, which is just how we like it for the under. The ump is Blaser who is relatively new, but I see nothing in his past that overly concerns me. I have this play set exactly at 6 and it's going to take a final score of 8 to beat us so I am rolling with the under for 1x.

                                                  Play #2

                                                  Giants ML (-118) 1x (Locked)

I suppose this is a "square" play, but just like I expect Shields to bounce back I also expect a better performance from Timmy than we saw opening day. As much as I am also backing Timmy, there's never a bad opportunity to fade Guthrie, especially with SF's offense emerging. Most books opened around -130 but saw early Rocky money. To be honest, I just don't see it and I will back the better pitcher with value. I have SF set at -125 giving us 7 cents of value in this game and I am rolling with the Giants for 1x. Good luck.

Don't be surprised if we have 5 or more MLB plays tomorrow. There's some interesting numbers out there. Still have more work to do, but tomorrow should definitely have quite a few plays. Good luck.

You ain't kidding. Much better card today. 1st glance shows me Cards, Nats (Stras, no Wright), Houston (Wandy, Degado big discrepancy) , Cubs (Dempster in bounce back year), Miami (Johnson), Toronto, K.C. all at PLUS money. Not saying I like em all, but I would think there has to be a play or two in there. Look forward to your thoughts.

That is a great price for Timmy, he and Guthrie are a world apart, and with Melky/Sandoval/Posey, S.F.'s lineup looking more formidable this year.

Sometimes they rotate after a rainout and sometimes they stick with the original ump. I'm hoping it's Gibson and the total comes out at 7.5 or 8. I like the under in that game at the right number/price.
