Riggleman did a hell of a job, but he signed the contract. IMO he needed to honor it and his team placing himself in a win/win situation. Nat's play over their heads and front office stay's miserly he has teams knocking down his doors next season, or front office acknowledges his effort and pays him what he deserves.
Now, from the outside looking in, it looks like he tried to leverage his big moment and kicked all that was being built in Wash to the curb. What about the team and it's momentum?! End of the day a Manager is a leader of men, he quit on them, I think he will regret this rash decision for years to come.
