    Best Closer in the league.
    I would say
    1) Mariano Rivera
    2) Fransisco Rodriguez
    3) Chris Perez
    4) Heath Bell
    5) Jonny Venters/Craig Kimbrel

Who do u guys think we can trust out there????
Not many out there, i like hanrahan and the angels closer as well.

    Still Mo.
    How great is he?
He's been throwing the same pitch for 15 years, every hitter that faces him knows the cutter is coming, Mo still gets them out.

U gotta give him respect, he is still pretty reliable. Best closer ever is stilling pitching great. And yes with just the cutter, which still is hard to understand for me.

Of all the closers who ever threw, whom would you list?

                  For me, Eckersley and Hoffman...

                  (in their "Prime," of course.

I call him Marborol, b/c he smokes the lead.

Whenever Andrew Bailey comes off the DL, then he will be the closer with the best stuff. Strikeout pitcher.

I'm nor sure how you could have K-rod on that list...... but Mariano, Wilson, Hannaran, Axford, and Putz seems like a good group to me.

18 saves, 5-1 w/l record, only 1 blown save with a team that has the most 1 run wins in the league says differently.

                                                He's having another great year.

Axford of Milwaukee is quietly becoming an
efficient closer he has successfully closed out his
last 15 and usually K's at least one batter.
