im thinking of goin 1k on this game...to win like 794...thoughts??? cc pitching..he's been good thus far, boston cant seem to get in their groove...i see yankees getting 5 runs, and dont think boston can muster up more than 3-4...

I went big on them as well. Desperation after the Mets completely shat on me today. 5 team and a 3 team parlay all squashed cuz of that meltdown. Never betting on the Mets again this year.

if anything im thinking under....2 slugfests so far, with them scoring 28 combined runs...im thinking the equalizer is due, expecially with cc and beckett, maybe a more reasonable 5-2 yankees win....but these teams are loaded with hitters in a hitters field...so its hard to say, i wouldnt go with the total, it'll either be low hitting game with a low score or another freaken 15 run gameComment -

My biggest thing is that both of these clubs have the ability to get it done and both of these clubs are familiar with the pitchers. C.C. had a good first outing, but the Sox can hit him and they have done so effectively in the past. Beckett not so much, and the Yanks can definitely hit him too. Yanks have the fresher bullpen and their 7th, 8th, and closer is about as good as it gets. I put down a unit on the Yanks, but I wouldn't wager anything too crazy...I actually liked yesterday's game a lot better, wager-wise, because a lot of the Sox hadn't seen Nova and Hughes' fastball was high 80s, which set up Nova's stuff to be that much better than it really is.Comment -

I like the TT O for the yankees on this one, but something smells fishy for a win tonight. Beckett has allowed a minimum of 5 runs in each of his last 5 starts against the yankees. Combine this with a strong (17 mph) wind blowing straight against the "Monster" and you have doubles all night long.
CC scares me here, but I think it will be a high scoring affair either way. 9.5 is a gift and 4.5 for the yanks TT is an entire holiday. Then again, they play the game for a reason.
