I have used this same system for years, but we have been minus money for too many days. I am going backtest this system and involve +1.5 run line on the dogs and see what I come up with in realation to value.

I am backtesting and it is of course increasing my win %....or actually my loss % is reduced but the juice is high on +1.5 so I am working on value in the difference...

And don't let my whining about the 1 run losses throw you off your game or cause you extra work. I'd been thinking +1.5 would have been good on the Brewers after the Phils tied it up, but the juice would've been -210. After the Crew came back to win I thought, nope, Jimbo's straight up +112 was pure brilliance.

Hey Jimbo,

If you don't mind my asking, for this MLB season and for this thread in particular, are you making your picks and adjusting the amount of units you put at risk based on a finite BR with which you started the season or an "infinite" one that you plan on adding to as you go? Here's what I mean by that... Yesterday you put a lot of units on the board, but at that point you were down only -13.37 for the season. And if, as you said, your unit size = 1% of your BR that would have meant that at that point your BR was down roughly 13%. After yesterday's results, however, the thread was down nearly -44 units, which would be 44% of your BR. With that being the case the amount of units you placed at risk today seemed more conservative.

The reason I'd like to know, as one of the people tailing you, is if we can expect these kind of adjustments along the way, looking to protect and work within the range of the finite BR's we allocated for tailing your thread. One would also assume that if you get this puppy in positive territory you might also increase the amounts of your units as you go. If, on the other hand, you plan on reloading your BR as you go to make up for down days, then that tells me something else I need to take into consideration on my end.

I am basing this on my bankroll that I have set aside for MLB. You are correct in that the early plays were fairly conservative. I didn't post my big late plays as I had to flip some early money before betting those plays. I do not post a play until AFTER I have actually played the game myself. Unfortunately I am in this area of my bankroll.
As I stated, and as you can see by the way that I have had to manage my money today that I am working with one roll. I will tell you however that I will reload if necessary. I haven't reloaded with a seasonal bankroll for a while but I will if necessary. But, rest assured I am trying to work with the bankroll that I have set aside for MLB.
Hopefully we turn this around quickly...

Jimbo, how long you gonna wait this out? Are you just watching what the system tells you to play and see how the results are doing or what? Just curious to see how things are going.
