Dodgers are 8-1 vrs Arizona this year. plus remember edwin pitched for the dodgers so they know him really really well. and not to mention Arizonas bullpen. So even if they go down they will come back.

I was feeling nice and fuzy about the Dodgers today then I remembered Clayon's last start there. He was out by the 4th. The dude is a mental case and I have a bad feeling that he isn't going to be on top of his game today. No Manny again today most likely and the dodgers are 13-16 without him this year. Dodgers are 19-21 on the road but 21-6 against the west.
This whole new manager thing throws another weird angle into the game. I wouldn't trust rodrigo lopez with my fake plants so I will not be betting on the Dbacks but I am having second thoughts about taking the Dodgers.
The total of 9 is getting pounded on the over (rightfully so that zona bullpen is the arson squad). Going to wait out the day to see how it goes maybe i will have something later but most likely not. Take the Rockies again today boys. If the Giants couldn't get passed the previous two pitchers they are in for a treat today with Ubaldo.Comment -

THe game will go over if the Giants can score. 7.5 is very low for Coors field but Zito has great career numbers against the Rocks. Ubaldo should shut down the Giants. That being said I would lean on the over but again its all going to come down to the Giants putting up 2 or 3 runs which they should be able to manage between Ubaldo and the pen.Comment -

He is finally throwing strikes and keeping his composure. I did not see the game tonight but wow! The Dbacks are in shambles. I really love Dan Haren but how do you back a team that commits 6 errors in 6 innings?

Yeah, the great number of errors committed in this game is hard to explain. A complete breakdown in focus and basic baseball mechanics. There is just no excuse for this sort of thing at a professional major league game.I really love Dan Haren but how do you back a team that commits 6 errors in 6 innings?

I want to take the under 9 but I want to see the line ups before I make the final decision. Haren posted 8 shutout in his last bid against the Dodgers and lost 1-0. Billingsly has been better lately and I don't expect the snakes to score more than 4. If someone like Furcal, Kemp, or Ethier is out today I will definitely go with it. Good luck fellas.

I've noticed that when Kershaw pitches well, so does Billingsley. When one sucks, so does the other - go figure. Hopefully, they will mature into a duo similar to Wainright/Carpenter. Nice work by Kuo today K'd 1st 5 he faced.Comment -
Thats kinda funny Vegas. I haven't noticed that. Well Kershaw is pitching the best he ever has lately and is showing no signs of slowing down. Billingsly looks back to form and they both have the pottential to be great.
Kuo is probably the most underrated lefty specialist in the league. Lefties are hitting 0-30 with 16 k's against him this year.
I only saw the last half of the game today. Kemp finally is not trying to pull the ball (the reason why he got in that recent funk) and he hit an opposite field bomb. This means bad news for the Marlins. Dodgers will take 2 of 3 from them. I haven't looked at the match ups yet but the Dodgers are starting to heat up.

Barring any weird line up changes I like the Dodgers rl today at plus +115. Matty Kemp finally took a ball to the opposite field last night and when he is doing that so effortlessly he is a very dangerous hitter. Robertson is 0-3 with a 7.71 era in his last 4 road starts. The fish have not faced Ely, who looked great in his last two starts, and he should give them some problems. If Ely is on tonight he will go 7 and give up 1 or 2 runs. Because he doesn't throw hard and is very accurate he can be very frustrating for hitters that haven't faced him. I am going to put it up now but if Kemp, Furcal, or Ethier is out of the line up its a no bet.

Ely had his worst outing this year. Oh well. I also totally screwed up and thought Robertson was a rigthy. I would have never advocated the high price against the lefty. Dodgers are only .500 against lefties this year. Anyways i already see the line has dropped down. I think this much like the movement in the Angel game on Sunday is a trap. Dodgers need to win this one or else they get swept. If they can't beat Volstad they have no shot at JJ. Take the -158 right now I doubt it gets any cheaper. Padilla has known been known to be inconsistent throughout his career and i hate backing him too strongly for this reason but the Dodger hitting should get it done anyways.

I was leaning the dodgers rl last night too. Didn't end up betting it only because I was out of the house. I really think we get the next 2 of the marlins still. You're right though if the dodgers pose tonight they'll get swept, I think If they win they take the series 2-1.
