I've had many people go off at the US about me when they find out I'm from Canada. I tend to shut them up though when I tell them I'm half American and if they really hate the US why watch their tv shows, listen to their music, drive their cars, buy their clothes, etc... Have yet to receive a decent response to that question in any of the countries I've lived in
