Yes, I always play money lines on favs, and plus the points on dogs (sometimes I use the dog + the points as a hedge for the dog moneyline).

There are many books, you just need to try some other ones. Or get some colleagues to make plays for you in Vegas. Or find a good local. Or, better yet, do all three.

The vig on big favorites is huge. If I was a book I would take any big favorite bet that anyone wanted to make.

And yet, year in and year out I kill the books playing money lines while all the "experts" tell me that I am no good, blah blah blah. I get so sick of hearing this stupidity.

People!!! stop bashing each other on things that work or not work. Some people are good wih MLs, others with sides, others with totals, others with quarters,others with road favorites or home favorites etc etc etc. I have noticed good posters in here who are all good at different things and different sports with different systems, then i see the haters that couldnt do it say its stupid or that certain systems dont work just because it didnt work for them. Think about gambling as if it were the NFL. You have people who can score, some who can catch, other who can play defense, others who can block, others who can play special teams etc. Everyone is good at different things, end of story.

dude u were up like 20,000 "whatever the **** u say u bet" and then you put 30,000 "units" on gonzaga against portland st and they lost outright as like 30 point favs. You whiped out your whole role and admitted it. Dont act like its fail proof.

You don't know what you are talking about. Every year in NCAAB, NCAAF, and NBA I run a thread where we play money lines. And we kill the books. And every year the crackheads tell us that it cannot be done and spreads are the only way, blah blah blah.

Exactly. I cannot play totals, I cannot play NFL (unless I am following tips from friends), I am hopeless at NHL. I am hopeless at spreads. What gets me is that the people who cannot play money lines claim that no one can do that and that spreads are the only way to play, blah blah blah, and they don't know what they are talking about.

Curious, more power to u if it works, but losing a road fav at -110 and losing a -500 mL is not the same thing. And in Any sport, not odd to see a -500 mL lose. Try getting out that hole if u had it to win a couple Hundo.
