Alright-looking at the scope of what's on the board for today the most obvious fade opportunity looks to be Duke on the road giving up major chalk (-14.5); only when I lined this game I actually have Virginia-5 O/U 123. Duke gets a sweet 4 days off before they play Illinois after this one. Virginia just sucks in every way except defensively-especially at home. My buy in price is set at Virginia+13.5 to +14; and the UNDER is intriguing given the fact that at the time of me writing this a 100% of the money is on the OVER early and the number is climbing-now up to 133.5. The side looks a little better in my opinion. Grab the generous points

I'm not sure where the line maker got this total from. It's pretty high. I have my line for Arizona/Baylor set at Baylor-11 O/U 136.5.

However, I won't be fading the Wildcats off of two straight losses with them having a SOS that's 5th in the country. They lost a heartbreaker by 4 to Houston, Baylor almost got ran out of the gym vs Houston losing by 11. There is good quality catching a team of this type with a good moneyline that doesn't cost anything. I'm on it

I am disregarding the NBA game on 2/19 as it will set up better opportunities for the following day when a lot more teams are in action including both of them (Hornets/Lakers). One thing that I have learned over the years while lining basketball games is that when teams aren't getting the appropriate amount of production from the players it is stunningly apparent, and you see that some teams are badly coached or the players are not playing up to their potential. So it blew me away when i lined the Hornets/Nuggets game for 2/20 and found that the Nuggets should actually be a short number underdog. the Hornets are a shit team to say the least and either poorly coached or the players are underachieving big time. The Nets are also not playing up to their potential either. Anyway here goes this in the next post.

All of that stated-the Nuggets are in a different time zone with altitude working for them and catching the Hornets on the back end of a back to back where they are playing the Lakers on the front end. Looks like a 20 point win to say the least barring injury or lack of interest (because a home game vs the Lakers is up next on the Nuggets schedule).

Northern Illinois (5-20) is one of the worst teams in the nation-and they have the 332nd rated strength of schedule while doing so (yikes)
Akron (20-5) has achieved their record with the 177th ranked strength of schedule. Translated this is a nightmare waiting to happen if they don't lose motivation. With 13-12 Ohio up next on the schedule i doubt that there are any look ahead issues
