OK starting to dig into MLB depth charts. The Cle Guardians do not have a strong roster at all. JRam is obviously a top 5 stud, and i like Kwan. They lost Naylor, and really don't have any SP. Bibbee is more like a 2-3 then an ace.

The Kings have been getting torched defensively their last three games giving up an average of 127.7 PPG. If the Hornets are to score any points in this game where will they come from? The point guard position. Malik Monk is 6'3" and LaMelo Ball is 6'7". He can get his shot off at any time that he wants-and when averaging 32.3 minutes per game on the road-that makes for very long night for Malik Monk and Elfrid Payton-a D-League talent if there ever was one. LaMelo Ball averages 26.6 PPG on the road

Arizona DBacks - strong roster again backed by studs Corbin Carroll, Ketel Marte - nice secondary players McCarthy, Gurriel and veteran E. Suarez. I love the Josh Naylor signing, he's a very underrated 1B going into the prime of his career, had a low BABIP in 2024. Burnes and Gallen are a solid 1-2 at the top of the rotation. B. Pfaat is my sleeper in this rotation - had a 4.7 ERA last year, but a 3.7 SIERA.

Sweet. I like this-they may have some issues within the division-however outside of that they should be good. They DESTROY American League teams who are unfamiliar with their style. Jordan Montgomery won't have another bad year like last year and E-Rod is decent enough to get 5 frames, Ryne Nelson is another wildcard to look out for in addition to Pfaadt. His ERA was hovering around high 4's but no big dealComment -

Baseball talk now. I paid my dues for our league on our draft trip to the Keys so I have to start getting my positions nailed down for bats. I am looking for obscure stuff LOL!
I went overboard last night and blasted away on a draft position for Brandon Nimmo (Metropolitans) who has the fortune of batting 4th behind Lindor, Soto and Vientos. While it's true that he had never cleared 70 RBI before last season he is definitely in a position where he can get over 100 RBI and with 3 straight seasons of playing in more than 150 games this is good.
Everyone had been blasting away on Soto and Lindor so this was an easy choice-look for me to put him on 12 teamers all season long and look for spots for Luis Arraez because K's are going to be heavily penalized this season by the Commish.
I dropped Royce Lewis (Twinkies) down a bit-he is injury prone.
One of my more interesting picks was Gleyber Torres (Tigers) who may even start the season in the minors (a plus for me). I do see his home runs going down in a pitcher friendly park, but his average should go up significantly with real nice power alleys. Buy while the stock is LOW-and his subpar season last year with the Bombers only helps give this move oodles of value. if he starts in the minors and then makes the roster later and tears it up I stand to make a tidy profit!
Jackson Holiday has a clear shot to get the start at second, and oh my in a speculative sense I see him easily improving over his production from last season. He needs to get his production up a bit vs lefties and cut down on his 33.2% K rate-so putting in work in the off season to clean up his plate discipline could make him a diamond in the rough.
Joc Pederson (Wanderers) I know, I know. This is a wild one. He will absolutely rake it against lefties and smash righties. I project him to have 25 dingers and 85 RBI-only because the Wanderers don't get much in the way of OBP from the top of their lineupComment -
I sure hope that everyone was listening about Osvaldo Bido (Athletics) if you didn't draft him you should do so immediately. When he takes the ump the entire universe will be on the other side-the uninformed side. He gave me some really big share paydays last season. The kind of paydays that had basically me and the Commish splitting the kitty when the dust settled. Check him out getting 5 K's and 1 free pass over 6 frames vs the Red Leggins.

As far as NBA goes the Clips are off of 3 straight losses and get the Bulls fresh off of a 142-110 win over the Sixers. They give up a whopping 120.5 PPG average at home which is second worse in the league. Only the Wizards surrender more. I will be looking at the Clips Team Total throughout the day-and hopefully they don't end up at -8.5 which is a good number for the Bulls. A nice -10.5 should do the trick for me to buy in. 70% of the money is on the Bulls so far and yet the line went from -6.5 to -8.5 so far.
It's all right there for the Pistons. joes are all over the Celtics with 82% of the money on their side and the line hasn't budged.

The Pacers are in jeopardy of losing the season series in a sweep fashion to the Raptors. Yet even with Tyrese Haliburton listed as QUESTIONABLE the line has gone from -9.5 to -11.
The Raptors are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights with little rest and one of those was an overtime affair. The line is creeping up to -11.5 which is my buy in number. May as well get in on this one now

The T-Wolves have a lot of nagging injuries for this evening's tilt with the Lakers. Have to keep an eye out for the injury report updates. One side I will be on will be that of the Bucks as the Nuggets are a false favorite. The Magic are still without Jalen Suggs-who is the gas pedal for them. Still the Warriors have been assigned a number that needs a little work for my buy in priceComment
