It's a pretty rare occurrence as you can see by the dates that have had plays. I don't think there are any today. But it's simple to look up: just find the games on the previous matchday that a team scored in 6 different innings, check if that team plays home next, and then you have a play.

A stat I find VERY useful is bases per run for batting and bases per out for pitching.

Here is why. Let's say you have a pitcher that has a high bases per out. But he has been pitching against scrub teams that have a high bases per run. Now he is going up against a team with a very low bases per run. He is going to get lit up.

I didn't do the backtesting but I validated backtesting another poster did. Sorry I don't remember who it was.

You have to throw out April and you have to only consider home teams for the game after the 6 innings of runs scored. The game that the 6 innings of runs scored happened in can be home or away. But, the next game by that team needs to be at home.

With those two caveats the 6 inning runs scored in thingamajiggy has very high probability going back 5 years.

Of course Murphy's law says that now that we know about this trend and will be risking money on it it will not only stop working but will do the total opposite. LOL

I would love to see this streak make 13, as 12 has been my longest streak, and that was with the prop of YES for a run to Score in the 1st Inning of Marlins games. Died going for the dreaded number 13. So I really cant wait for the next chance on this new one.

Even though FL/SD is at a very low 39%, I can't pull the trigger. Line opened at 7.5 and went down to 7. No way I can take Under 7, almost tempted to take the over, but sticking with this system, but not with Under 7 with these pitchers. Last 4 times Gauding pitched when line was 7 or 7.5, all 4 went Over, 11, 9, 15 and 8 runs.

With that said, my system produced Seattle so I am on them but it will certainly be a tough game and I'm not confident that they will pull it out but King Felix is easily in the top 3 pitchers this year IMO.

Houston scored in 6 yet are a dog today. Results fitting this scenario are a bit more favourable but not as slam dunk as one might think:

Seattle was a big play for me using my system, so I was already on them. Cards were heavily favored over Astros using my system so I did not override it due to the 6 runs scored trend.

I went 12-4 today, so I'm not complaining.
