Hey Barts,

I think you are having your primary confusion with the way sportrends sets the lines on their systems. I believe they list a number next to the home team. so if you see a -145 next to the home team than they are projected to be a -145 favorite, but conversely if it says +145 next to the home team, that simply means the away team is a -145 favorite. Then you use the .25 cents of value test

Your 100% correct and of course you compare the proj line whatever team is the fav to the act money line and then perform the value test.

Anyone who wants to see a definite answer as to how we are tracking the plays, and an actual list of games, instead of just being told that somehow mysteriously the system won with numbers that can't be verified can find our thread at:

By the way did you get permission to use sportrends systems. I did and the last thing we need is for them to take down their pages containing their systems. We are already running their systems and there is no reason for you to duplicate it and confuse people especially if you still dont understand how the systems work. If you want to keep the win/loss records here, I have no problem. At least we can check the plays.

Again you show your stupidity by telling us if your record in baseball over the past 2 weeks is 20-2 " it dont mean shit" even if your playing 100% fav. and you want people to follow you???. In addition if sportrends takes down their systems because of you, it will be screwing a ton of people who have followed us for over 2 years now and you will have to answer to them all. In addition, not everything on the internet is free. You need to read whats at the bottom of every page on sportrends website. If you have not, here it is. The information provided by Sportrends is not just common stats or information you can find on any website such as boxscores, but systems hopefully designed to make people money. If not go and start your own thread by finding some different systems if it can be found. Don't screw it up for all of us.

Tried posting this earlier, getting tired of a lot of things, so the short version is:

I e-mailed sportrends explaining what I was planing on doing, and asking them to let me know if they had any issues (not sure why they would since it would be more publicity). They haven't objected. Despite that, weary of all the drama, so won't be posting.

So I'm only getting White Sox.

So check with the Wiz its his thread.
FYI, Sportrends drooped the TPR for the SA System.
If the Rangers weren’t on a 4 game losing streak they would have been a SA play.
Don’t compare the M/L System to the SA System, there opposite.

SA has LAD as a -139 favored I think books line on LAD is +110
