Formulawiz - this is the first year I'm using the software, so I wasn't sure how effective entering the data would be, or if there was some other problem with the program, or if there was more than 1 day's worth of bad/missing data. I'll make sure to note that I can do this going forward.

99% of the time I download the stats. But once in a while I have to leave early in the morning so I enter all the stats myself. All I was indicating is that its easy to do yourself.

Formula and Peter, I'm going to start keeping track of this record in the thread here. Can you remind me again what filters we use? It's no play on a team if:
1) on a winning/losing streak of more than 2
2) It has the lowest Home / Road winning percentage or is last in the division (did you guys think this was a good filter?)
3) line is worse than -175

Here are the filters as found on the Sportrends website.

When comparing our projected money lines to the oddsmaker's posted lines there needs to be at least a 25-cent differential or overlay in which the oddsmakers ML's are moving in the opposite direction to our lines.
Make sure each pitcher has pitched at least 20 innings.
Never bet on a team favorite in which you must lay over -175.
Never bet on teams that are on a 2 game or more losing streak.
Never bet against a team on a 2 game winning streak or more.
Stay away from teams traveling long distances in their first game

I dont use your #2 filter for ML plays. Peter may use them for TPR plays.
I sometimes take into account teams travelling.
I also look at team going into a sweeps.
I also look at sportrends PR ratings of pitchers and how his team backs him when he starts the game.
But as far as I am concerned the 4 filters I mention in not written in stone.

Going into Monday nights game the Pirates were 24 games under .500, but 8-2 against the Cubs. Pittsburgh had lost 17 straight road games before winning Monday night at Wrigley.

They suck but they own the Cubs.
