wacha with a chance to get a do over from that stupid gm i went to with the 3 hour delay and played in rain last Sat. even then he had a no no going vs lad thru the 5th i believe, he had to throw a lot of pitches and they got to him in 6th but i would expect that wont be the case this time around. he doesnt typically have the kind of control problems he had in that misty rain crap..

i certainly have them as a gm im gonna look into more, figured there was no rush as i would think line goes up..i mentioned before the mia gm i wouldnt read much into the dead arm thing,. doesnt mean im not willing to bet against him but when i cap the gm im assuming he is healthy if he out there. there plenty of other reasons to consider zona.

I had Royals written down as a possible dog yesterday and for some reason took Tribe in my parlay. I meant to take Shields/Pads. Dumb mistake but really got lucky with Phils comeback win. Still pretty good day with Fish (DoD), A's & Twins all winners.

At first glance, Cubs, Cards, Indians, Rays as dogs.
Reds, Tigers, Astros as favs.

I think Reds my fav play today but not a dog yet.

as i mentioned i dont think the dead arm talk is anything i would let effect my capping. that said i think this his 1st time pitching at chase and the roof gonna be opened, over the years ive seen a lot of very good pitchers struggle at chase with the roof opened. half the cards staff used to always complain about pitching there and their numbers reflected it. not saying it the same for everyone but until i see a guy succeed at chase under the stars i tend to expect some struggles..

I always bet everything that I like at the time on the overnight lines at either Heritage or 5 Dimes because those reduced odd go away at 8 AM ET. I don't even think about anticipating line moves until after overnights are gone, but even then I usually act immediately if I think I have an edge and if line moves against me, so be it. Would rather do that that risk line moving other way and losing perceived edge.

How many times have you seen a Top Flight pitcher struggle several games and then go to the 15 day DL with elbow or shoulder issues? I would think if Harvey has another rough outing, he may go to the DL for a little rest. He may very well struggle again tonight.

Achilles I completely agree and put Bradley for Zona in same category. Of course they are gonna say the typical "I'm perfectly fine" and whether it's b.s. or not till they prove it on the field it's all that matters. Agreed that I think the play on this game is Tigers or nothing especially since the line has moved. Tigers just have too much fire power in that lineup to be this bad offensively and they are overdue to bust out at the plate and start winning again. Just for me this is a no play because I am not willing to put my money on the line that this happens today behind Shawn Greene. If it was anybody else in that rotation I would probably take the risk but Shawn Greene has had a couple of bad starts in a row so you are basically putting all your faith in the fact that the Tigers offense is due. I think the Tigers TT might be a better bet but I am staying away.
