i thought that was a uncanny ability only i possessed! think i have transferred my powers to you this year, ive never been very good at distinguishing what play of mine the "best". im notorious for it with nfl, my fav play generally the worst. just dumb luck im playing the 1 in here at this high a clip, i mean overall im having good year but ive been waiting for my record in here to fall off for a while now.

think im gonna pull that move in the total of day thread. already 0-2 with the only 2 totals ive missed last 2 days, lol.

I'll have to look closer when I get home from work. Roark has been disappointing IMO tho. I thought he kinda got shafted not having a spot on rotation but he hasn't grabbed his opportunity by the balls since it came. +128 just seems high to be giving what I feel a pretty equal team.

This Ryan kid pitching for Tigers 0-5 +4 Era in AAA ball this year. What gives with this kid? Curious as to reason he was brought up. Is he a top prospect?

When I first saw -118 White Sox I wad all over Sox but after a little digging I'm almost going other way. Just getting scared off by this kid on bump for Tigers.

I watched last game with him vs Bos, he threw 1 hitter through 7 or so and no earned runs. Lots of walks though but after an each walk he finished the inning pretty quickly.

Lohse has been so bad this year. Only a small handful of quality starts. Complete opposite than Gibson who has 5 quality starts last 6 starts. Gibson has been really good as of late. Few to many walks but I am thinking Twins is the right side. What are you seeing with Brewers tonight? Thx

My model only has Twins at 51% (-104), mostly because it is not fond of Gibson. Terrible command numbers with 4.35 strikeouts vs. 3.05 walks per nine innings lead to 4.40 FIP and 4.57 xFIP, nearly two full runs higher than the ERA pointing to negative regression. Yes, Father Time could be catching up to Lohse and he has an ordinary 4.01 xFIP, but that is still 2.5 runs less than his ERA, leaving at least SOME room for positive regression.
