I'm new to this system, but sounds interesting and potentially profitable, so want to tail.
One questions I have is do we use the "Listed Pitchers" or "Action" when placing these bets?
Thanks!

I always play listed pitchers for game 1 as that is qualifying game. Once we are into the chase after a game 1 loss I'm playing action b/c I'm not as concerned about the current game odds.

Listed pitchers for game (A). After that it doesnt matter.
*All lines are based off of 5dimes. When playing games that are close to the -145 cutoff, please wait as close to first pitch as you can to place your wager.

if you played OAK last night, congrats on the free win. the line didnt close at -145, so therefore no play.

Stupid question perhaps but is the idea now to make a a net profit of 1 unit on the B bet? So i have to bet enough to recoup the A bet loss + 1 unit profit?

I made a mistake with my note on the filtered, this would be an unofficial 5/2 play (since as imotiv8 mentioned, 5/2 starts after April 25th). The posting was correct, where no play was listed under 5/2. Sorry for the confusion.

Not sure what you had done in the past couple years On3, but a word of caution. When I first started doing this a few years ago, I was only playing the filtered series for interleague games as there were a higher percentage of losses for that subset for whatever reason.... May not matter with how you are doing it, but thought I would throw it out there. The schedule set up differently back then with clumps of IL games at a couple times during the season so may not really be relevant anymore, plus as you previously stated, the beginning of the season can always be a little bit hairy. Here's to a good season!

on3 - are you using 5dimes as the offical book to call it based on? STL is close so I just wanted to watch to make sure.
