#212Appreciate you sharing your paid for service. Yes, i've been betting less than a unit on it too, and it is showing some positive signs so far. Thanks again Hagball.Originally posted by hagball52It's not a system. It's a service I paid for because JM's system is so dull and slow the first part of the season so I purchased this and decided to share in this thread. I have no idea how it will go but I have been betting every play for one unit so tonight it finally showed some profit. They have been doing really well recently but there is no guarantee of success so if you are playing along do so with caution. I set aside a specific bankroll that I could afford to completely lose and it would not affect my overall sports betting other than piss me off. Just tread lightly because I asked them for past records and they said this is the first year of this program based on 4 years of back testing. I will continue to post the plays as long as it doesn't become a complete dumpster fire. Good luck.Comment -

#213I have noticed something related to the O/U plays that made sense to me. If a broker gives a lower odd on let's say an Under, it means that they believe that the game is gonna end up under. Knowing that brokers have plenty of resources and sharp ppl working for them to come up with those odds. I would say that their odds could be used as a signal. I tested this on some games, betting on every lower O/U odd (Using Bookmaker odds), and the results came up interesting. 11 wins for 2 losses on the 17th games. 9/3 on the 16th games. 5/5 on the 13th. I didn't test previous dates, but i am on the optimistic side that most of them will be positive. What do you guys thing of this, is it worth further digging?Comment -

You have only looked at a very small window. What you are doing takes a lot of work and backtesting. You are right about the books having a lot of smart people. They have an arsenal of intelligent people with college degrees in numbers and all of the latest and greatest software. For a single guy to think he can go in and compete against that and win consistently is a bit of a stretch. Not that it can't be done because I've met a few people that do win but what they have done is create their own little nitch where the books have flaws. It takes a lot of time and research and when they achieve it they usually aren't willing to share. All I can say is put in the time and let us know how it turns out. Good luckComment -

#217Totals Plays 40-37 (+3.80 / +0.25 units)
04/17 ATL @ PHI under 7.5 (even) win
04/17 LAD @ SFO under 7 (even) win
04/17 COL @ SDG over 7.5 (+120) loss
04/17 MIL @ PIT over 7 (even) win
04/17 CLE @ DET over 7.5 (+110) win
04/17 SEA @ TEX over 9 (+105) win
04/17 BOS @ CWS over 7.5 (+110) loss
04/18 There are no plays for today that meet criteria .
I'm starting to see a trend here. The odds you get on these plays are critical. By the time I bet these plays some of the numbers have changed. I'm just hoping that over time the law of averages will prevail and I get a few wins or pushes where they get a loss or a push otherwise the disparity in our unit totals could grow.Comment -

Notes: Nice to get 2 more (A) bet wins. I wiffed on a V3 play yesterday. I should have had Milwaukee as a play because they lost the first game to Pittsburgh and then came back and won last night. The rpi is so volatile this early in the season and I wasn't paying attention. Sorry about that. I won't count it on the record for now. Keep in mind that the V3 plays are only (A) and (B) bets there is no (C). Also I haven't been playing the road teams in V3 but do as you wish.

If you noticed I gained a little ground on the units. I had the STL/WAS total at 7 and got the push where they lost. I'm hoping that through the course of the season I get enough of those to offset the difference in the juice on the plays.
P.S. I don't know what to make of these guys yet. Last Sunday we had 14 plays and now none today. I'm sure it'll pick up but there is no pattern at all.Comment -

#237Just the totals for the (A), (B), (C) and (D) plays. The unit amounts can easily be figured from that. Each series to win one unit and any losses can be figured from the juice laid on the 4 plays that lost. If I'm not mistaken there was a series loss with the Cubs on the 13th.Originally posted by BenGooGaYou mean keeping track of the win/loss records of wallco's O/U games?
