Hag, thanks for stepping in. Any reason you are changing to vegas insider for closing lines? Using the prices and the total could vary. Almost like comparing apples to oranges if numbers aren't the same.

I have been using vi exclusively since I started in these forums and I know the site well and know how to navigate it. I'm unfamiliar with Covers. When I get some time I'll check it out but I am slammed for now. If it's that important to your system I'll try and use it by the time the official plays start.

Use the lines on the individual team's past results page. Go to MLB, click on teams. All the teams will appear, click the team you want. Then click past results. You can check any year you want including all games played in the current year.

P.S. I edited post #295. The lost unit amount has changed. I went back and adjusted it by the closing line at Covers.com instead of vegasinsider. I will always use to risk 1 unit on a plus money bet and to win 1 unit on a minus money bet.

Allidoiswins, Got another question for you. When determining if a series is an official play. Do we start tracking on May 1st or do we start playing on May 1st ? Also I believe you mentioned something about a push during the tracking process. If there is a push during a 3 game tracking process does it remain official or go to unofficial ?

Tracking begins may 1st.

A push between goes unofficial.

Official plays only occur when the base criteria is met (3 straight games go over/under by 3+ runs). And an official play can turn into an unofficial play if bet A is a push.

I really should have just mafe it system 1 (original) and system 2 (extra plays that will net close to zero long term)

So why are you and the limit giving this system attention? Not sure I understand.. While jm is slow, why not just pick up a system like On3s?

On a serious note, I have a very close friend who has been diagnosed. When not on his medication, it is actually terrifying to witness at times. Very highs or very lows, not a whole lot of in the middle.
