Hey man, if that's all ya got I wouldn't recommend this. That probably won't stop you though will it? Best of luck, post what you are playing for the day. If you are looking at that list of guys you showed I'd just pick out one or two a day that they all might agree on and that you think looks good too. Might not happen all that frequently, but just my $02.00.

Hey Beastie...........please don't take this the wrong way, but gambling should be more of a hobby than a way to pay bills. If you can't afford to lose money, then it probably shouldn't be wagered.
Regardless of your choice, good luck in whatever you do.

Okay Boys, let's get this thing rolling...............going golfing today and leaving for vacation tomorrow.
Cleveland vs Detroit:
Both teams not hitting well, although Cleveland shows signs of breaking out of it. Tonight however, Cliff Lee & Edwin Jackson are the opposing pitchers. Detroit always has trouble with Lee, but beat him earlier this year 1-0. Jackson has one of the top ERA's of all starting pitchers, and he has given up 8 runs in his last 20 innings.
Careful boys, been only average over the last 10 or so, although my other picks have been doing well. I try to give you my "best" play each day, but doesn't always go as planned.................
Let's kick some

STL -110 1st 5 Innings 1.5 units L ATL +120 1 unit L TOR 1st 5 Innings -125 win 1 unit L MIN -105 1.5 units L
Ouch. 0-4, swiping 5.25 units and nearly cleaning out the profits to date. On the brighter side, we are still cash positive after weathering a bit of a storm.
Onward to this evening :
TEX 1st 5 Innings -115 win 1.5 unit
As you may have noticed by now I don't trust bullpens much, especially on the road. Burned me yesterday with the Cardinals, but it has worked for me in the long run in situations where I like the pitching matchup. Feldman has pitched very well against the Mariners. The Rangers have seen Marrow in the relief role several times over the past few years and have good number against him. Texas is also slugging much better (on the road) than the Mariners are (at home) over the past 5.
BOS -1.5 -116 win 1.5 units
Yesterday's lose should leave a bitter taste in the mouth. The Red Sox have good numbers vs. Bannister and the Royals have poor numbers vs. Lester. Bannister's numbers are drastically worse on the road 1.54 WHIP 5.02 ERA. Lester has also been very stingy on giving up runs over the past several starts.
MIN -123 win 2.5 units
Another favorable pitching matchup. The Twins are more than capable of hitting Danks and Blackburn has been solid vs. the White Sox lineup. Bit of a disadvantage on the slugging, but nobody likes their first game in the dome. The Twins win 60% of the 1st games of a series when at home (even more if they're favored) and they've just lost two in the past week. Adding an extra unit for the situational advantage.
Record : 17-16-1 +0.13u

Cubs (previously posted) -103 (.5 unit)
BOS -1.5 -120 (.5 unit)
Cinci/NYM 9 -110 (1 unit)
TOR -109 (1 unit)
B-Jays/Bal-o's -105 (.5 unit)
OAK/TB u9 +110 (.5 unit)
FLA/ARI 7.5 +100 (1 unit)
FLA/ARI (1 unit)
Rockies -145 (.5 units)
COL/ATL (1 unit)

White Sox +112 (.5 unit)
Phillies -165 (2.5 units)
SDO/SFO 8.5 +105 (.5 units)
Texas -120 (2 units)
**Texas needs to win one today. Superior pitching, batting, and bullpen. Mariners have been playing well, but it is Friday now at home. Don't think that isn't a factor in this game.

THerb - Nice day my friend! Calling for the comeback and getting it done. Good stuff.
TA - Good work on that big Dodgers victory. It is obvious that you're a guy that knows when to pour it on.
Woodman - Sorry the tails didn't work out for you, but way get that money on your own selections.
Foghorn - Keep'em coming man. I love the write-ups. Always informative and its great to see the thought process.
BamaBill - Winning the right games to add to that bankroll. Gotta love that.
Beast - Good luck my man. My biggest suggestion to you would be to track your picks on paper for at least 100 picks, whether they be tailed or your own, and keep a record of how much money you win or lose. During that time, you get to figure out what wins and what loses objectively. Money, especially when its not abundant, tends to put emotional blinders on to successful vs. unsuccessful methods of wagering. Gambling without money greatly decreases the allure, but undoubtedly will increase your probability of success. I know I know, it is also MUCH easier said than done.
Best of luck today!

Therber2 these are my picks,
1. Twins
Blackburn is good plus the Twins got creamed by the yanks so they are looking to win. Danks has a 1-1 career mark with a 6.19 ERA at the Metrodome.
2. Marlins Under both Nolasco and haren are good pitchers.
2. Phils. They are smoking hot and hungry,
Duke is 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA in three career starts against the Phillies. They pirates don't have much of an offence.
If I could do straight bets I would play these.
I am tailing a few guys with LAD,Tampa Bay Detroit, Houston.

Thanks hufster. I am tracking my plays on wins and losses.
Also spent and won.
I am at 49% win rate.
I could be on a higher win rate but keep in mind I can only play parlays here.
No straight bets, minimum 3 games and all have to win to cash ticket
I am gonna do a a 6 game parlay tonite.
Good LucK and Thanks

Dunno if I'd call what I do flat betting but it is pretty damn close to it. Chasing or going extra large on ANY play is just not in my blood; I'm super glad it is working out for you, and I like tailing your 30 units picks . Really pissed I didn't see you on the Dodgers today. Like I said, TA on a game with 30 units deserves at least a unit in ANYONE's bank. There is one thing in the market though I am just waiting on that I'm going extra large in. This would be an exception in my routine. If anyone wants to know; send a PM or email.
I'm a cautious man. The other day, upon hearing talk of the CFTC capping commodity futures purchasing on top of record short positions held (delayed news ); I ditched a lot of stocks. I don't care if they go up or down; I'm done with them. I am sick, and tired of the wars against this and that in the market, and incompetent over regulation. All I am going to do now is ride the roller coaster stocks that don't rub anyones fur the wrong way. I have one excellent pick in mind that I have been milking. I think it will be a great buy if it does what I am expecting. Tempting to pull the trigger on it now actually, but I'm willing to wait a bit on it.
Don't but it was done with the VCR/VHS machine as the others were busy getting other goodies.
Just to explain, I'm back to picking myself not because I blame others for losing those tailed picks, but because I've been doing well on my own picks and would like to see if it continues. Again, BOL and should people here all agree on the picks to make I'll happily tail.

I second it. Every now and then, after earning a certain amount, I will 'reward' myself with one but will never force it.
