Thank you, trust me, my jaw dropped, my heart sank, and my eyeballs popped last night. Today is a new day. I am trying to just pick 3 games I like the most and pound it. Mostly looking at Cubs, Phillies, and you-broke-my-heart Giants. Still want to do my dog experiment of course.

Really interesting thought there Karma. Another question is whether or not there was some player factor for the team due to either an upset or revenge. I think many of us have thought the same thing: does day game or night game affect a specific team's performance? I'd try correlate the above though with home/away and upset or streak, etc. Could I ask you what resource(s) you used to find the results above? It is always a pain for me to figure out what time a previous game was.

Excel is my friend! Easy to manipulate.. all you have to do is enter every game daily with start times. Also, like to make notes in there about those situations you mentioned.. but as we all know it's tough to find trends that are consistent. I swear I'm liking that under more and more... it's Texas afterall.. and these two teams have played twice already in the last 24 hours.

Another thought there that I agree with. Most of the time I try to take advantage of a line jacked up with an overrated pitcher in. Not saying Feldman is overrated in this case; however, I'd put the Indians long term abilities, line value, and verge of getting swept into account here for the lean. Look at any recent stats, and the Rangers are out performing the Indians. So coin toss for me. Waiting on TA's thoughts here.

True, for me it's a coin toss as well. And I feel, more then Feldman being overrated per se (he's not), that Carmona is getting dissed. Oh, and here's another one for ya... Indians haven't been swept in a series at home since the ASB.

. Game didn't qualify for a play of any type less . The numbers say TX outscores them but they didn't get the majority of game wins.

Not today - same situation as the TX/CLE game, one team outscores them but doesn't get the majority of the C&B (checks & balances).
