Well, I really don't have a clue how to cap baseball as I have only just been introduced to it and it isn't big in Australia.

What things do you look for when capping baseball games? How do teams have an advantage over another?

Good evening Mendozaaaa,

Pitching vs batting match ups are a good point to start. Certain pitcher chuck better/worse against certain players, teams and parks (locations) plus surface (grass, dirt, artificial) and time of game (day vs night). Get all those numbers for a team, then check then against their opponent. Yup, lot of grunt work but after a while you'll be able to tell half-way through if that game is worth pursuing. Hopefully others will chime in as well. Thank for adding to our thread.

Doesn't look so dumb now. I looked at it, too close to call IMO. From the box score, I see someone finally got a play where the bullpen held up in the late innings.

TOR sure used thier bullpen. I think it was the 6th or 7th they used like 4 different pitchers. Lukily they didn't give up a run that inn.

It's a good play against opportunity on the Angels, but Lackey was lights out the other night and their pitching has been outstanding in September. ERA around 2.55. Angels are only hitting .221 as a team tho. Plenty of opportunities, but they can't seem to get the runs across. Lot's of sweeps on teams as they fade away with the exception being Detroit today. Giants lost 2 out of 3 to the Padres also. I'd have to say Angels with Lackey and the hitting potential + they play as well as anyone at home. The only angle I see for Seattle is that they won't lose their 5th in a row.
