#5259Is this record include all those live-bets?
I stop in your thread every one for a while and sometime I see those live bets that you post, are those include in your the record?
Nice work for the season so far, btw
Best of luck the rest of the season.Comment -

#5260They basically said you didn't include the additions in your final total. ie, SEA TT over 3.5. etc
Update:
Was a bit curious, so did some chicken scratching. I came up with a loss of 5 units even. But this was counting everything and assuming the correct pitcher started each game. 4.5 loss is what NC came up with. Could just be not counting live games, extra plays, etc.
I think oldshoebox72 above post is a fair and good question. I hope this post is not taken the wrong way by NC. I'm not saying you don't keep correct totals. I do follow your thread and appreciate your work.
Update: Made a mistake of a loss of 10.4 instead of 11.4 with a net loss of 5. Now loss is only .5 different then NC.Last edited by bald_guy; 08-27-13, 08:38 AM.Comment -

#5263Awesome. You are 100% correct. I subtracted 1.5 instead of only 1 unit for Adding a unit to Cubs +1.5 +115.
I only answered, due to you asked 'What is "pathetic" exactly?'. Then I got curious and did some math, how be it wrong.
As an independent auditor, NC loss yesterday was dead on. Despite what the Gus and TheMLBKing said, NC recorded it straight.Comment -

#5280Nice link, IB. Some of my friends ask me why i spend so much time on baseball and not on a "real" market like the NYSE and that pretty much sums it up. The Yahoo! price 2000 to 2001 is a good example until you realize that market sentiment can drive the market for long time periods and things can change for that 'underpriced' stock before the market corrects itself. In baseball and sports in general, if the market overreacts to something, the game is being played that night either way and you immediately realize the edge (assuming it was really an edge).
On another note, the brewers's active roster has a top 10 offense per weight runs created plus over the past calendar year. For a team that has the 6th worst record in baseball, it wouldn't surprise me to see them do some damage over the last month of the season as a constant underdog.Comment -

#5283It makes sense to pursue a "legal" US market, as the ability to build wealth trumps anything we have reasonable access to in the US regarding sports betting (not to mention tax benefits). However, besides technical differences as the example you gave, it all comes down to what you like to spend your time on.
