    All-Star Game Predictions
Thought it might be fun to post some All-Star Game predictions. Pick a winner, your MVP and one other 'side.'

I'm going to go against the recent grain and take the NL, 4-2. Going out on another limb with Chase Utley as my MVP. Thinking he gets the key hit, maybe a 2-run double.

My other side is Papi Ortiz with an early misplay at first for the AL leading to two unearned runs for the NL.

I'm taking the NL by 3 or more with Jason Bay the MVP. Let's call the final score 11-3.

Bay will hit for the cycle, drive in 8 runs and also convert a rare 7-1 putout from left field on a hard hit grounder by Pudge Rodriguez. After the game, Bay will walk across the surface of the Allegheny River.

I consider all of this a LOCK!!!

I think the NL wins by 2 runs or less.

this game will probly be one of those 6-5 type games, and Albert Pujols will win the MVP.

AL by 5 or more I say and Michael YOung of the
Texas Rangers for the MVP. NL dont have a
          chance again.

Hasnt been announced yet, but with that 2 RBI triple in the 9th. You would think it will be Michael Young.

              Good call.

It's always nice to be lucky rather than good.

Michael Young is clutch, not lucky. Thats why I drafted him number 1 in the SBR draft. That, plus I picked 9th.

The National League always seems to get the carpet swept out from underneath them. One of these years they will turn the tide.

Yes, one year there was a tie. It was one of the greatest debacles in sports history and it led to the profound declaration by Bud Selig that the All Star Game would determine who receives home field advantage in the World Series. Therefore, a glorified exhibition game plays a vital role in the outcome of baseball's greatest prize. Brilliant!!!
