Looks like an obvious Minny play w the points from what both have shown recently, but I've got a feeling Bucky finally plays up to its capabilities and wins on Senior Day. They're one of the most underachieving teams in the nation but I think they got one solid, home performance in them. That Iowa game was rock-bottom - no where to go but up!

Lot of seniors on Wisky, Minny overachieved perhaps all year they may kinda take it easier going into postseason. Not exactly straightforward, but if Minny comes to play they should cover.

Huge gopher fan and up till the time Minnesota clinched a top 4 seed in big 10 tourney yesterday I would of been all over the gophers but now with Maryland Win yesterday this game is far less important to Minnesota. On the road verse a Wisconsin team that need a win in a bad way tough spot for gophers.

Way too talented? One of the lesser talented Wisky teams in years imo. Id hate to play in that stagnant offense. Hayes hasnt seemed to have gotten better since he was a sophomore. Brown thinks he's a 3 pt shooter but cant hit the broad side of a barn, 6'8 and shoots more 3's than 2's, only shooting 30% from 3. Koenig is ok I guess, rather slow, dribbles too much and average handle, doesnt handle pressure on the ball too well. Happ has prob the best upside of them all. Next year should be rough on them as they graduate 3 starters. They kinda overachieved imo, books gave them quite a bit of respect this year, 11-15 ats.

isn't this a battle for the #2 seed? Both teams hold tiebreakers over Maryland so winner of this game gets the #2 spot.

It may be ? but Minnesota now gets the days off in the tourney either way. I just feel like it's a let down spot before the tourney and big dance now that they have a top 4 spot either way. I hope the gophers pound em but it went from a sure play to no play for me I think Wisconsin needs the win way more at this point.

That makes 2 good halves of basketball Bucky has played since January - 2nd half of Maryland and 2nd half today. Hope they're saving some up for the tournys! Shooting and free throw shooting specifically need to get much better to have a chance...

I don't knock the pick. Here's the weird part of the game to me:

* I'm 100% convinced that Koenig is carrying a knock. He isn't cutting well. Did u see him get dispatched on that weak drive to the tin?

That said, he shot the lights out in 2nd half. Maybe it was Senior Nite adrenaline.

Badgers are in trouble for tournament. Only guy really playing well is Happ. If Koenig is still < 100%, they are vulnerable to lose 1st game. Not that it's saying much...they've already pissed away a 4-seed. Will be a 7 or 8 seed, imho.

I've gone against Wisky twice all season. Against Maryland a few weeks ago and against Minnesota yesterday... both losers. That's the way the cookie crumbles I guess.

Most inconsistent Badgers team I have seen in a long long time.
