UFC Fight Night Best Bets for Cortes-Acosta vs. Walker: Suarez Decision, Waldo Long Shot & More
Last Updated: November 6, 2026 4:41 AM EST • 4 minute read X Social Google News Link
Saturday's UFC Fight Night card at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas has a new heavyweight main event. Waldo Cortes-Acosta faces Johnny Walker, while Tatiana Suarez and Virna Jandiroba meet in a strawweight co-main event with title implications. The main-event pairing came together after welterweights Sean Brady and Gabriel Bonfim had their fight canceled.
My UFC Fight Night best bets start with Suarez by decision at -110, which is a no-brainer to me if you’re on her side versus Jirna. I'm also taking a small swing on Cortes-Acosta winning a five-round decision at +500, along with two round-total plays further down the card.

My best UFC Fight Night pick: Suarez by decision (-110) vs. Jandiroba
Virna Jandiroba has never been finished in 27 professional fights. All four of the Brazilian’s losses have come by decision, including last year's five-round title fight against Mackenzie Dern. That's a great start for looking beyond Tatiana Suarez's -215 moneyline.
Suarez averages 4.52 takedowns per 15 minutes and remains one of the division's most accomplished wrestlers. She submitted Loopy Godinez in April, but Jandiroba presents a considerably more dangerous grappling matchup. Jandiroba has 14 professional submission victories and is one of the craftier grapplers in women’s MMA.
I’ll bet Suarez controls the wrestling game and gets Jandiroba on her back for ground-and-pound damage. While submission is possible, Jandiroba's durability makes the scorecards more appealing. At -110, I'll back Suarez to win a three-round decision rather than pay more than twice that price on her moneyline.

Cortes-Acosta by decision (+500) vs. Walker
Waldo Cortes-Acosta isn't exclusively a knockout artist. Five of his 10 UFC victories have come by decision, including wins over Serghei Spivac and Robelis Despaigne. His last two fights also reached the scorecards, although he lost both to Alexander Volkov and Curtis Blaydes.
Johnny Walker is a more unpredictable opponent. He looked dangerous knocking out Mick Parkin in his heavyweight debut last month. However, his previous fight against Dominick Reyes went the full 15 minutes, completely due to inactivity. Walker also has a four-inch reach advantage that could make Cortes-Acosta work to establish his boxing. Lots of weird stuff going on. And the short-notice portion makes this fight even harder to read.
Walker's durability remains a problem. Six of his 10 professional losses have come by knockout, and Cortes-Acosta has stopped five UFC opponents. Neither fighter has much proven experience beyond three rounds, which, I’d argue, could work in my favor. I envision hesitation from both sides as the rounds tick on.
There’s no doubt a stoppage is the more likely outcome, but +500 only requires a 16.7% hit rate to break even. I'm keeping this to half a unit on the possibility of Cortes-Acosta controlling a cautious, lengthy heavyweight fight.
Kondratavičius vs. Petroski Over 1.5 rounds (+172)
Mantas Kondratavičius has real finishing power, but his UFC debut against Antonio Trocoli went the full 15 minutes. He won a unanimous decision after showing some conditioning concerns, which makes an early knockout less automatic than his -300 moneyline suggests.
Although Andre Petroski was stopped in two of his last three bouts, he’s an experienced wrestler who averages 3.12 takedowns per 15 minutes. His wrestling gives him a way to slow the exchanges and make Kondratavičius work in the clinch.
At +172, I'm betting this fight lasts beyond the 2:30 mark of Round 2. Petroski's recent losses make it risky, but he has enough grappling ability to turn an explosive opening into a slower fight.
Cachoeira vs. Milošević Under 1.5 rounds (-110)
Priscila Cachoeira has been involved in plenty of early finishes. Three of her last four fights ended in Round 1, including a knockout loss to Joselyne Edwards and a submission defeat against Chelsea Chandler. She also knocked out Josiane Nunes in the opening round during that stretch.
Nina Milošević made an impressive UFC debut in August, stopping Hailey Cowan with body shots at 3:41 of Round 1. The Serbian owns four professional knockout victories and five first-round finishes, with enough physicality to punish Cachoeira's aggressive style.
Cachoeira absorbs 7.45 significant strikes per minute and rarely fights conservatively. The limited UFC sample on Milošević is a concern, but the matchup looks dangerous from the opening exchanges. At -110, I'll take the Under 1.5 rounds rather than pay roughly -500 for Milošević to win outright.
