A pair of unbeaten teams culminate Matchweek 4 on Monday at Elland Road (3 p.m. ET, USA Network), and I’m backing the Under in my Leeds United vs. Newcastle United prediction.

Only Arsenal have conceded fewer goals than Leeds, who enter the tilt against Newcastle as the +120 betting favorite. I’m also predicting a draw, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin again popping up to inflict more misery on Magpies supporters.

Under 2.5 goals (+108)

Each of Leeds’ three Premier League matches had two goals or fewer, and the Under hit in four of their five tilts in all competitions

Daniel Farke and Leeds United emphasize the importance of an organized, disciplined defense, best exemplified by conceding just twice in three league matches.

While the Over hit in two of Newcastle’s three Premier League matches, they faced a porous Bournemouth side and a potent Liverpool attack. Facing Leeds at Elland Road offers an altogether more challenging proposition for Matthias Jaissle and his Newcastle attack.

🆚 Who will win Leeds vs. Newcastle?

Leeds have been solid at the back, and they usually play a high-tempo, dogged brand of football at Elland Road, making it difficult for opponents to score. While Leeds are often difficult to break down at home, they don’t have one of the most menacing attacks, scoring three goals in as many games. Newcastle, meanwhile, aren’t as prolific as their six goals indicate.

Score prediction: Leeds 1, Newcastle 1

🔥 More Leeds vs. Newcastle expert picks

Dominic Calvert-Lewin anytime goal scorer (+170)

Calvert-Lewin fancies scoring against Newcastle more than a sweet tooth enjoys devouring a chocolate chip cookie. With seven goals, the Leeds forward has scored more against Newcastle than any other team.

He matches up well against their physical rearguard and netted against Brentford in Leeds’ only home game of the season thus far.

The Magpies haven’t exactly been watertight at the back either, conceding four goals in two matches. They kept a clean sheet in the other contest against Tottenham, but Spurs are one of two teams yet to score a league goal.
