The four players leading the tournament’s Golden Boot race feature in this final. Messi and Mbappe scored five goals each, while Argentine forward Julian Alvarez and French striker Olivier Giroud each netted four goals at this World Cup. As it stands, Messi will win the trophy because he has three assists to Mbappe’s two.
