The Edmonton Oilers hope not to become the first team swept in the Stanley Cup Final since 1998 when they host the Florida Panthers in Game 4, as we offer our top player props for Saturday's contest based on the best NHL odds.

The Edmonton Oilers find themselves in a hole as deep as a drilling rig hitting paydirt. Unfortunately for the Oilers, paydirt is nowhere in sight.

The Florida Panthers took a commanding 3-0 series lead with three goals in a 6:19 span of the second period in Game 3, complemented by Sergei Bobrovsky's stellar performance. The Oilers have another shot to try to extend the series at home, taking place on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET at Rogers Place (ABC).

Despite the Panthers' six-game winning streak, the Oilers are slight favorites to win Game 4. The Panthers, however, are overwhelming favorites by the Stanley Cup odds, and Sergei Bobrovsky is also a strong favorite by the Conn Smythe Trophy odds to be named the MVP if they can get it done.

Here are our best Panthers vs. Oilers player props and NHL picks for Game 4.

Top Panthers vs. Oilers Game prop bets

Sam Bennett Over 0.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've jumped aboard the Sam Bennett bandwagon since his return from injury, and I won't stop now.

He's a playoff juggernaut, and worth his weight in gold. The Panthers' steamroller does it all, with his oppressive forechecking and highly charged physical play leading to costly Oilers mistakes. His Game 3 goal perfectly exemplified his ability to harass and create chaos.

Bennett is on a six-game scoring streak and has notched a point in eight of his last nine games. With 13 points in 15 playoff games, Bennett is hotter than the hood of his car on a 100-degree Florida day.

FanDuel offers the best value out of our best sports betting sites. Its +112 odds imply a probability of 47.17% and pay a profit of $11.20 on a $10 wager.

Evan Rodrigues Over 0.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stanley Cup winners usually feature an unsung hero or two among the ranks. For Florida, at least in the Final, that player is Evan Rodrigues. He's recorded a point in four straight games, scored the winner in Game 2, and came up with another clutch assist in Game 3. While he's a late-bloomer in his career and in these playoffs, Rodrigues is obviously feeling it and is as opportunistic as they come.

I should have backed him to get a point in Game 3. While I may have been thinking it, I didn't pull the trigger. His offensive production is even more impressive given his average ice time of 14:37. That's more efficient than paying the extra few dollars to expedite your DoorDash order.

At +150, DraftKings offers the best value. Those odds imply a probability of 40%, and a $10 bet pays a profit of $15 if it hits.

Connor McDavid Over 3.5 shots ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I hate to say it, but Connor McDavid is the Oilers' last hope, and their only hope. With Zach Hyman, Leon Draisaitl, and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins held off the scoresheet thus far in the Stanley Cup Final, McDavid is the one beacon of light emanating from Oil Country. McDavid registered two helpers in Game 3 and fired five shots on Bobrovsky.

He's tallied at least four shots on goal in five of the last seven games and two of four in the Stanley Cup Final. McDavid hasn't been able to score against Bobrovsky, but he'll do his utmost again in Game 4, hoping what he has to offer is enough to keep the Oilers breathing for one more game.

FanDuel's +100 odds are the most appealing and represent an implied probability of 50%. A $10 bet will pay a profit of $10 if it hits.
