Carolina reclaimed home-ice advantage with a Game 4 victory, and now will rely on its dominant possession stats and the boost from the Lenovo Center crowd to snag a 3-2 series lead. Carolina's suffocating forecheck continues to cause problems for Vegas, and tonight it gets the additional benefit of having the final say in the matchups with the last change.

Bussi came in and (sort of?) settled things down between the pipes, and I expect another decent showing from the rookie tonight.

Don't be shocked, however, if this one goes to extra time (again).

Over 6 (-115)

Every game in this series has sailed past this number, with final tallies of nine, seven, nine, and eight. Vegas has one of the best offenses in the playoffs, boasting 3.70 goals per game (2nd) while Carolina clocks in with 3.47 (4th) - it's a couple of squads not afraid to light the red lamp.

Carolina's aggressive forechecking leads to top-tier opportunities. But it also plays into the Golden Knights getting the job done on the counterattack. Carolina has also found success on the PP throughout the series, scoring with the man advantage in three straight.

A lot of operators have moved this line to 6.5 with plus-money to the Over, and that's certainly an option as well. I'm going to roll with the flat 6, given it's still available at -115, but any steeper and I'd move to the 6.5.

Shayne Gostisbehere to record 1+ points (+110)

A lot of the top players on the Canes have seen their prop values disappear as the goals continue to pile up, but Shayne Gostisbehere still presents some.

The blueliner has become a catalyst in the SCF, and has been an integral part of the offense the whole way through. He's notched three goals and seven assists in 17 postseason games, but was held off the scoresheet for six straight to start the playoffs. He's found his stride, however, with points in six of the last seven. Given I'm backing the Over tonight, taking the power-play quarterback to find the scoresheet isn't a bad call.

Anytime you get the opportunity to distribute to Svechnikov and Aho, and can get plus-money to do so, it's worth a shot.

We haven't seen much movement in this line, but that's not entirely surprising given that we're four games into the series. Traders at the best sports betting sites are comfortable with their lines, and it doesn't require much tweaking, if any at all. Carolina opened at -150 but is trading closer to -160. They might pull a little further away with continued public money, but I wouldn't be shocked if it holds firm.

The total opened at 5.5 with bet365, has been as high as 6.5, and is currently trading at 6 after pulling back. Depending on your persuasion, it might be best to hold off on it, moving from a 6 to 6.5 and catching whichever you like most.
