The slumping Vegas Golden Knights visit the Nashville Predators on Tuesday. Read on for our best Golden Knights vs. Predators pick based on top odds.

Losers of four straight games head into the All-Star break, the Golden Knights have dipped to third place in the Pacific Division. Vegas does have an impressive 15-5-4 road record, but has fallen on hard times since captain Mark Stone underwent back surgery.

The Nashville Predators had plenty of momentum going into the break, winning three straight games overall and five in a row at home.

Here is our best Golden Knights vs. Predators NHL pick (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Golden Knights vs. Predators pick

Under 6 (-115 via DraftKings)

The Golden Knights are reeling with just one win in its last eight games before the All-Star break. That victory, at home against Washington, was the only time in the last 10 games that the Golden Knights have hit a total of more than six goals.

Stone last played Jan. 12; since then, the Golden Knights are tied for 30th with 1.97 goals per 60 minutes and No. 1 center Jack Eichel has just one point in eight games.

Vegas is, however, getting healthier on defense. Shea Theodore returned for a couple of games before the break and Zach Whitecloud is expected to make his return to action Tuesday night.

Goals might still be hard to generate, but a healthy blueline corps should help Vegas keep it a lower scoring game.

Preds goaltender Juuse Saros has been excellent on home ice. In 22 starts at Bridgestone Arena, Saros has a .923 save percentage and 16.83 goals saved above expected. That ranks eighth and third, respectively, among 44 goaltenders that have played at least 500 home minutes.

Overall, Nashville averages 5.66 goals for plus against per 60 minutes, the second-lowest average in the league.

Going against a Vegas team that is struggling to generate offense, this game offers solid Under potential.

DraftKings (-115)

-115 🔥-120-120-120 -125 ❄️

Most of our top-rated sportsbooks have the Under priced at -120, though PointsBet has Under priced at -125.

DraftKings has veered the other way, with the Under at -115, making it the first choice for making this wager. In a league that typically averages six goals per game, it is better to grab the total at six and lay some juice than to wait for the line to shift to 5.5, which is always possible once the price goes beyond -120.

Golden Knights vs. Predators odds analysis

The FanDuel moneyline opened with the Predators favored at -126, compared to the Golden Knights at +114. Even though 59% of the early consensus moneyline wagers are on Nashville, the line has shifted in the other direction.

The Predators are now favored at -114 while the Golden Knights are priced at -105.

The total opened at 6, with the Under at -120 and the Over at -102. With 56% of the early consensus action coming in on the Under, there has not been enough incentive for the total to move at FanDuel.
