I'm offering my Seahawks vs. Cardinals prediction as backup Drew Lock looks to get Seattle to 2-0 against a squad that pulled off one of Week 1's most surprising upsets.

Kickoff is at 4:25 p.m. ET at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. (FOX), with the Seahawks priced as a 3.5-point road betting favorite.

Mike Macdonald will be in his bag without his starting quarterback.

That's why I'm backing the Under as my best bet for this matchup, as projecting the Seahawks' offensive production is far more volatile with Drew Lock starting in place of the injured Sam Darnold.

Seattle's defense looks every bit as formidable as it was en route to the Super Bowl last year. Even beyond forcing three Drake Maye interceptions, Seattle allowed just 4.1 yards per play to the Patriots, the fifth-best mark of Week 1.

And don't forget that the Cardinals gave up only 14 points last week on the road against the Chargers. This will be a grind-it-out NFC West battle dominated by the defenses.

Love in for a long day

Though he found the end zone in his first career game last week, Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love averaged just 3.7 yards per touch.

That mark will be even worse against the Seahawks' league-best defensive front as Seattle picks up the road victory.
