Rams vs. Commanders prediction & best bet

Rams -4.5 (-110 via BetMGM)

Kyren Williams and Blake Corum are going to feast against this Washington front, which ranks third-worst in EPA/rush allowed. The Commanders are down their top two defensive tackles after losing both Daron Payne and Javon Kinlaw to season-ending injuries.

The Rams have leaned on their two-heading rushing attack in recently in the absence of Davante Adams and multiple tight ends, averaging 164 yards on the ground over the last two weeks.

That will help Los Angeles build a lead and play keepaway in the second half to win by at least five points on the road. I backed the Rams against the 4.5-point spread at BetMGM.

📡 SBR Edge: Rams thriving ATS on the road

The Rams are 2-0 against the spread as a road favorite this season.

Third-down success gap favors Rams

A major separation point between these teams is their effectiveness on third down on both sides of the ball. The Rams rank eighth on offense and sixth on defense in third-down conversion percentage, while the Commanders rank 31st on offense and 25th on defense.

Bolstered by an in-form rushing attack, look for the Rams to control the time of possession in this matchup and extend drives where the Commanders can't.

Play to: Rams -4.5 (-115), pass at Rams 6.

Score prediction: Rams 26, Commanders 20
