Bengals vs. Falcons prediction & best bet
Over 52.5 (-110 via BetMGM)
I expect a shootout in Spain this Sunday, making the Over my best bet. Bengals and Falcons games are a combined 8-3 to the Over since Week 3, when Atlanta QB Michael Penix Jr. rejoined the lineup.
While the Bengals' defense has improved this season, this is still a unit that's allowed 24-plus points to the Titans, Dolphins, and Buccaneers.
This is a Falcons offense that's loaded with talent, nearly matching Cincinnati's in terms of quick-strike ability. BetMGM offers the top value on the Over among the best sports betting sites, but I'd still play the bet up to -118 at that total.
📡 SBR Edge
The Falcons are averaging 25.8 points with Penix, which would rank top 10 in the league if you exclude the first two Cooper Rush starts.
Falcons' secondary should say its prayers
Joe Burrow is playing at an MVP level, leading the NFL in passing touchdowns, passing yards per game, and completion percentage. He has a clear plus-matchup in Madrid against one of the league's worst pass defenses.
Throw out last week's muddy rainstorm in Tampa in which the Bucs didn't even try to throw the football, and Atlanta's 255.6 passing yards allowed per game rank bottom-five in the NFL. Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins should be licking their chops ahead of this one.
Play to: Over 52.5 (-118), pass at 54.5.
Score prediction: Bengals 28, Falcons 26
