Rams vs. Broncos Prediction: Week 3 Early Pick & Opening Odds
The Denver Broncos were back to their stingy best in Week 2, and I expect their defense to put on another show in Week 3, which I discuss in my Rams vs. Broncos early prediction.
With the Rams yet to face the New York Giants tonight to culminate Week 2, the Broncos are the early 2.5-point betting favorite for the Sunday Night Football clash at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, airing on NBC.

The Broncos at home provide a formidable test for any team, as the Jacksonville Jaguars found out. The Broncos snapped the Jaguars’ nine-game regular-season win streak and held Trevor Lawrence and Co. to 13 points.
It was the first time the Jaguars didn’t score at least 23 points in 12 games, and the Broncos were full value in their win, delivering a defensive masterclass. They held the dynamic Jaguars offense to just 284 yards.
Offensive coordinator Davis Webb enjoyed a much better day in his second game calling the offense, but the Broncos’ attack doesn’t pack a consistent punch. It finished 15th in DVOA last season, and I expect a similar ranking in 2026.
📡 SBR Edge - Injuries to keep an eye on
Broncos’ running back J.K. Dobbins suffered a slight hamstring injury in the win over the Jaguars, while backup RJ Harvey missed the game, also due to a hamstring issue. Puka Nacua is questionable for the Rams’ MNF game against the New York Giants, and it’s another injury to watch heading into Week 3.

Rams vs. Broncos line movement
The line hasn’t moved yet, but it could move after the Rams' MNF result against the Giants. Oddsmakers only have the one Down Under dud to go on from a Rams perspective, so the spread could shift beyond the critical number of 3 depending on what happens at SoFi Stadium.
However, I don’t expect the total to move too much at the best sports betting sites, if at all.
