Kickoff is at 4:25 p.m. ET from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. (FOX). The Lions are priced as a 4.5- to 5.5-point road betting favorite.

This is going to be a shootout in the desert, but the Cardinals don't have the offensive talent to match the Lions punch-for-punch across all four quarters.

With Jared Goff playing as well as ever, Detroit ranks third-best in second-half scoring and will pull away from Arizona to cover the spread.

While I expect Arizona to hang around early on, especially with how poorly Detroit's secondary has played, the Lions will win this one by at least a touchdown. That's why I bet Detroit to cover 5.5 points at BetMGM, rather than the 4.5-point spread offered by other best sports betting sites.

Gibbs will show Love how it's done

While the Cardinals are still searching for how to unlock hyper-talented rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, the Lions will show them the blueprint on Sunday.

Jahmyr Gibbs is on track another Pro Bowl season as a dual threat out of the backfield, leading the NFL in offensive touches and scrimmage touchdowns.

After Christian McCaffrey cut through this defense with ease a few weeks ago, I expect Gibbs to be unstoppable against the Cardinals in a Lions victory.
