My Eagles vs. Commanders touchdown scorer picks highlight why Dallas Goedert and Rachaad White could find the end zone on Sunday Night Football.. When these two teams met in Week 1, Jalen Hurts threw for three touchdowns. While he won't play on Sunday, the Commanders' pass defense has been so bad that Tanner McKee should be able to exploit its obvious weaknesses.

The Commanders are favored by -5.5 points ahead of Sunday's 8:20 p.m. game at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Md. The game will air on NBC and stream on Peacock.

Eagles vs. Commanders touchdown scorer predictions

Best TD pick: Dallas Goedert to score anytime touchdown (+270 via BetMGM)

The Commanders have allowed 15 passing touchdowns this season, tied for the fourth-most in the league. Eight of those passes have been to tight ends. Only the Lions have allowed more touchdown receptions to the position.

In Week 1, Goedert hauled in four passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns against the Commanders. Although he hasn't scored since then, McKee has been his favorite target. Over the last two weeks, he's caught 11 of his 15 targets for 109 yards. He has at least five receptions in each of those contests.

💡 SBR EDGE: Goedert is the Man

With DeVonta Smith out, Goedert is one of only two active Eagles with multiple touchdown receptions. However, while Darius Cooper has caught four touchdowns, his production has been far more inconsistent, with just nine receptions compared to Goedert's 22 this season.

Long-shot TD pick: Rachaad White to score 2+ touchdowns (+850 via FanDuel)

With Jacory Croskey-Merritt on IR, White should see opportunities against an Eagles defense that has allowed nine rushing touchdowns. That's tied for the fourth-most in the league.

White hasn't recorded more than eight carries in a game this season, but he's been effective in the passing game, catching 14 of his 15 targets and scoring two touchdowns through the air. He should get chances close to the end zone, as the Commanders scored two one-yard touchdowns in their Week 1 loss to the Eagles.
