LSU vs. Iowa prediction

Clark Over 9.5 assists (-115 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

One aspect of Clark's game that's become almost underrated is her ability to set up teammates as a playmaker. She's known across the globe for her scoring prowess, but the Hawkeyes All-American is one of the best passers in college basketball.

Clark leads the country in assists per game (8.9) and has relied on her court vision throughout the postseason to give her teammates easy buckets. She is coming off a 15-assist game in the Sweet 16 and has handed out double-digit assists in four of her past five games and 11 of her last 15,  averaging 10.8 over that stretch.

Against LSU, that playmaking will need to continue, and it should. The Tigers allow the 37th most assists per game in the country (11.0). The -115 odds at DraftKings stand out, with odds as short as -135 at Caesars. The -135 odds imply a probability of 57.45% that Clark will finish with at least 10 assists, according to our odds calculator

Clark Under 6.5 rebounds (+105 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

This is as much of an Angel Reese prop as a Clark prop, with the LSU star being among the best rebounders in the country. Behind Reese's 13.2 rebounds per game (second most in the country), the Tigers clean up the glass to the tune of 46 rebounds per game (fifth most in the country).

LSU's ability to bring down offensive rebounds could make it difficult for Clark to hit seven rebounds - she averages 7.3 per game. Clark averages 6.9 defensive rebounds and just 0.4 offensive rebounds, but the Tigers are fifth in the country in offensive rebounds (16.4). Reese, Aneesah Morrow, and Flau'jae Johnson combined for 10.7 offensive rebounds and 28.6 overall - that's tough competition for Clark to pull in boards.

Clark's line is higher (7.5) at DraftKings and Caesars, but we love the +105 odds at bet365. However, we wouldn't go lower than 6.5 on this Under nor bet it at odds shorter than +100. At the +105 odds, a $10 wager would lead to a $10.50 profit.

Clark Over 4.5 made 3-pointers (-135 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's rare to find Clark's total 3-pointers made line lower than 5.5, and it's only being offered at 4.5 at Caesars. While these odds are short, Clark's 3-point shooting has been more iffy than normal during the NCAA Tournament and while we feel strongly she'll hit at least five, we aren't as certain about her hitting six.

LSU's defense isn't dominant by any stretch, but Kim Mulkey's group has defended the perimeter fairly well this season. It ranks 78th in 3-point percentage allowed (29.2%) and gives up 6.4 per game. While that doesn't put any doubt in our minds about Clark hitting five 3-pointers, it could be a slower night than normal for the Hawkeyes star. Clark averages 5.1 made 3-pointers on 13.6 attempts per game (37.7%) and is the highest-usage perimeter shooter in the country.

She's going to have her opportunities, but at the same time, she hasn't hit more than five 3-pointers in a game in her last six outings. While betting Under 5.5 made 3-pointers does offer better value at FanDuel (-125) - it's -135 at our other best sports betting apps - we'd rather take the Over at -135 and trust the game's most prolific 3-point shooter to deliver.
