Check out our top NBA prop picks from a loaded schedule on this Monday.

It’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and as is tradition the NBA tips off early today with seven games prior to the typical 7 p.m. ET start time. While there are intriguing matchups throughout the day, I have my eye on a few player prop picks this evening that I think offer value for those who look close enough. We'll examine two from the Toronto Raptors-Miami Heat game, and fade a Canadian playing against the Dallas Mavericks.

Here are top NBA prop picks for Monday (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Monday's NBA Prop Picks

Pascal Siakam Over 21.5 Points (-105) ???Jimmy Butler Over 0.5 Three-Pointers (+120) ???Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Under 22.5 Points (-105) ????

Top NBA Prop Predictions

Siakam Over 21.5 Points (-105)

Having offseason shoulder surgery, it took a while to start the season for Siakam to start heating up. Now, that point has arrived. Leading a Raptors team that now has won seven of their last 10 and surging up the Eastern Conference standings, we’re starting to see why Toronto has invested so much in their slim big man.

Coming into tonight versus the Miami Heat, Siakam is averaging 24 points and 9.4 rebounds in the month of January, including going for 22 or more in his last four games. Look for a similar type of performance from Siakam that he had Saturday night in Milwaukee, where he put up 30 on the reigning NBA Champs as his confidence continues to grow each and every game.

Butler Over 0.5 Three-Pointers (+120)

We’re staying in Miami for this one but hopping to the other bench as I’ve keyed in on a Butler NBA prop pick I think we see eclipsed. Shooting just 1-11 on Saturday night vs. the 76ers, Butler is still leading the Heat in field goal percentage this season at 49%, while shooting 24% from beyond the three-point line.

Prior to his last two games including the 76ers matchup Saturday, Butler had made at least one three-pointer in three straight games, shooting 41.7% during that span. After such poor consecutive shooting nights this weekend, look for Butler to be more aggressive offensively and sink at least one before the game is over.

Gilgeous-Alexander Under 22.5 Points (-105)

Averaging 28.6 points and 52.5% from the field over his last three games, Gilgeous-Alexander is getting a lot of love in the prop market today that I think is unwarranted. In the three games prior, he averaged just 13, which is more in line with some of his stretches to start the season.

He now draws a Mavericks team who is getting increasingly healthy, as Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis will be back in the lineup for this one bolstering a defense already third in the league allowing just 102.7 points per game. In his career against the Mavericks, Gilgeous-Alexander has averaged 18 points per game which is closer to what I think we see tonight.
