The NBA has a ton of action in store for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and our top NBA parlay picks for Monday come with odds of +480.

With basketball on all day, the books have a number of storylines to keep up with as they set their numbers. The sheer volume of information to follow today may lead to more value than usual.

We’re targeting a handful of the evening’s games with this parlay. Utah’s trip to Los Angeles for a game against LeBron James forms the backbone of our ticket, and we’ll supplement that with reads on Portland’s visit to Orlando and Toronto’s stop in Miami.

Here are our top parlay picks for Monday's NBA matchups (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Top NBA Parlay Picks

Utah Jazz -4.5 (-110) vs. Los Angeles Lakers ???Portland Trail Blazers (-125) vs. Orlando Magic ????Toronto Raptors vs. Miami Heat (-145) ????

Top NBA Parlay Predictions

Jazz -4.5 (-110)

The Utah Jazz just toppled the Denver Nuggets by 23 points last night, and they’re back in action again here with a matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Jazz had been struggling before yesterday’s win, but they were also playing without Rudy Gobert. Fortunately for Utah, the star big man returned last night and made his presence felt immediately.

While it’s not ideal that Gobert and company had to play quite a few minutes last night, the Jazz didn’t have to gas every starter. For instance, Mike Conley played a season-low 23 minutes, which should keep the 34-year-old veteran fresh for tonight’s game.

We’re also picking this for our NBA parlay because the Lakers are a public team. They have gone 17-26 against the spread this year, the fourth-worst such record in the association. And at 9-16 ATS at home, they’re even less likely to cover in L.A. than on the road.

Lastly, the efficiency metrics point to value here as well. The Jazz score an NBA-high 117 points per 100 possession, which gives them an 8.2-point advantage over the Lakers. The Lakers have also played the second-worst defense over the last three games by allowing 127.1 baskets per 100 possessions, 13 more baskets than what the Jazz allowed through that same span. Remember, Utah didn’t even have Rudy Gobert for two of those games!

Trail Blazers (-125)

The Portland Trail Blazers have been awful this season. Their 17-25 record ranks them 10th in the Western Conference, and they’re just one game ahead of the Sacramento Kings. They are even just 3-14 on the road, the worst such record in the NBA.

But we’re picking them because they’re playing against the Orlando Magic. While Portland won’t have Damian Lillard, Larry Nance, or Cody Zeller, they will have C.J. McCollum, and they could even get Norman Powell back as well. Meanwhile, Orlando won’t have leading rebounder Wendell Carter Jr.

Also, the Magic have somehow been worse at home than the Trail Blazers have been on the road. Their 2-15 record in Orlando ranks as the association’s worst home record by a huge margin — the Magic win more than 20% less frequently at home than the next-worst Detroit Pistons.

And for those of you who follow season-to-season trends, the Trail Blazers have won their last nine games against the Magic, a streak that dates back to February 2017. This is a good value pick for our NBA parlay.

Heat (-145)

The Miami Heat have handled an unstable roster better than any other team in the NBA. They’ve had to, as just about every one of their starters has missed time. However, they got Jimmy Butler back a few games ago, and Bam Adebayo isn’t far from making his return. Oh, and they’re 27-16 and just one game behind the Chicago Bulls for first place in the Eastern Conference.

With so many key pieces back for the Heat, I expect them to go on a tear through the next few games. They should bounce back from their loss to the 76ers on Saturday with a win over the Raptors tonight.

The Heat have been the NBA’s third-best home team this year. They have gone 13-5 in FTX Arena so far, and they have an edge over an average road team in Toronto. The Raptors have gone a solid-but-unimpressive 9-8 on the road this year. This line should be set at -165 or -175, not -145.

Combined Odds: Jazz -4.5 (-110) + Trail Blazers (-125) + Heat (-145) = +480
