πŸ’° Best Suns vs. Thunder prop bet

Devin Booker Under 24.5 points (-110)

After scoring 42 points in two play-in tournament games this week, Suns guard Devin Booker could struggle in Round 1 against the Thunder. Their length and physicality can take away the best parts of his offensive game.

Oklahoma City does a great job of defending without fouling, which is how Booker gets 21% of his scoring production per Props Madness. The Thunder are also the top transition defense and third-best isolation defense.

With that in mind, it's no surprise to see that Booker scored 45 total points in two head-to-head meetings with the Thunder. His usage decreased by 8.7% and he attempted 6.8 fewer field goal attempts.

I'll bet against a big scoring performance from Booker in Game 1.

πŸ”₯ More Suns vs. Thunder prop picks

Ajay Mitchell Over 9.5 points (-125)

After cashing several tickets on Ajay Mitchell player props this season, I have no choice but to back him in the first game of the playoffs.

Mitchell should be plenty motivated this postseason after not having much of a role last year. This time around, he's the team's sixth man and will be asked to provide an offensive impact to take some of the pressure off the Thunder's stars.

Given that the Thunder are preparing for a deep run, I'm expecting Mitchell to have a bigger role in this series. Mitchell played only 24 games with Oklahoma City's top trio this year, but he averaged 11.4 points and cleared this scoring mark 16 times.

I like this scoring line as long as it's below 10.5, though some shops have already bumped it up.

πŸš€ Suns vs. Thunder same-game parlay

I'm betting on the Thunder to take care of business in Game 1, as the Suns have placed twice this week. That's why I've added an alternate spread of -9.5 to go along with my favorite player props for this Suns vs. Thunder parlay. The total payout is +290 at FanDuel.

πŸ’‘ How I'm betting Suns vs. Thunder

Follow all of our NBA analysis and expert predictions this season.

This time last year, the Thunder opened the postseason with a 51-point blowout of the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 1 of their first-round series. They went on to complete the sweep.

In 2024, Oklahoma City also made quick work of the New Orleans Pelicans, winning the first two games by a combined 34 points en route to another first-round sweep.

The Thunder don’t tend to ease into series against inferior opponents. I’ll be betting with that in mind, especially early on when the market is still anchored closer to regular-season expectations.
