Th NBA returns Thursday with 12 games, including a showdown between Western Conference powerhouses, and we're offering our top Suns vs. Mavericks player props based on the best NBA odds.

After a less-than-inspiring All-Star break, the NBA returns with a dozen games on Thursday, including one featuring two of the best teams in the Western Conference.

The Dallas Mavericks won six straight heading into the break, and they'll look to continue to climb the West standings standings when they host the Phoenix Suns, who are riding a two-game win streak of their own.

Tim Hardaway Jr. Over 2.5 rebounds (-102 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐  

Tim Hardaway Jr. is averaging 3.6 rebounds per game in 2023-24, though that number has taken a hit in recent contests as the 31-year-old's minutes have been somewhat dialed back. However, Hardaway is expected to be more active on the boards on Thursday than this number at FanDuel suggests.

NumberFire projects Hardaway to collect 3.1 rebounds against the Suns, which would still be below his season average. Based on that projection, DraftKings' -120 odds on Over 2.5 rebounds are far more "fair" than the price we're getting at FanDuel.

When we run that projection against FanDuel's -102 odds on Over 2.5 rebounds, we're getting nearly 13.5% positive expected value on this bet. Devin Booker Under 37.5 points + rebounds + assists (-105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Devin Booker is once again putting together an extremely impressive campaign, as he's averaging his second-most points per game on 50% shooting to go along with a career high in assists per outing at seven. However, Booker's projections for Thursday's clash suggest he's going to finish well below his season average of 39.1 points + rebounds + assists.

NumberFire projects Booker to end with 36.2 PRA against the Mavericks, and we're already seeing some sharp action on Under 37.5.

Jusuf Nurkic Over 10.5 points (+104 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐  

Jusuf Nurkic hasn't been the same scorer in Phoenix that he was with the Portland Trail Blazers, though that's due more to a dip in volume rather than efficiency. However, this number is far too low for the Suns' big man.

Nurkic is averaging 11.8 points this season, and NumberFire projects he'll finish Thursday's game right around that number at 11.6.

This is a bet that truly highlights the value of shopping around the best sportsbooks, as we're attacking this rogue number more so than the line itself.

Nurkic's Over 10.5 points is trading at -110 through most of our other sites with the best sportsbook promos, though FanDuel is pricing it at +104.
