We're 29-26-1 on the NBA season so far, up 0.53 units for a 0.7% ROI. That's not good enough. My NBA best bets today break down Monday's 15-game slate in hopes of pumping up that ROI.

The first game I'm attacking is Trail Blazers vs. Nuggets, which tips off at 9 p.m. ET, followed by Raptors vs. Clippers and Suns vs. Warriors, which both tip off at 10 p.m. ET.

Best NBA bet today

Raptors vs. Clippers prediction: Raptors -3.5 (-110)

Despite being down Kawhi Leonard, who is expected to miss three to four weeks with a knee injury, the Raptors rank seventh in the NBA with a 7.8 net rating. The Clippers, meanwhile, rank 22nd with a -6.7 net rating.

After beating the Kings by 25 points in their home opener, the Clippers have lost five straight games, two of which were against the Lakers by eight and 16 points. Yes, the Raptors are playing the second half of a back-to-back after a six-point loss to the Lakers, but they outscored L.A. 43-27 in the fourth quarter. If they pick up where they left off in the fourth, the Clippers will struggle to be competitive.

Play to: -4.5 (-109)

Trail Blazers vs. Nuggets prediction: Damian Lillard Over 3.5 3-pointers (+138)

While Damian Lillard isn't the scorer he once was, he's still attempting 3-pointers at a very high rate. He's averaging 9.4 3-point attempts per game, which ranks seventh in the NBA, and has attempted at least 10 shots from beyond the arc in three of his five games this season.

Not only has he been aggressive from deep, but he also faces a Nuggets defense that allows the eighth-most 3-point attempts per game in the NBA (39.4). The Nuggets rank 21st in the league in defensive rating (114.1), so Lillard has a realistic shot at attempting 10 3-pointers and making at least four.

Play to: Over 3.5 (+129)

Suns vs. Warriors prediction: Warriors -3.5 (+102)

While the Warriors are still short-handed - Jimmy Butler won't return until at least January, and Kristaps Porzingis is away from the team - they've been playing better than the market expects.

The Warriors rank 13th in the NBA with a 2.4 net rating, compared to the Suns, who rank 27th with a -11.5 net rating. The Warriors have won four in a row and covered in each of their last five games. Until the market drastically upgrades Golden State, I'm going to continue betting it at low numbers.
