The No. 1 seed Detroit Pistons will try to live another day when they host the No. 8 seed Orlando Magic for Game 5 at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Prime Video.

Detroit is down 3-1 in this series, but trading as a 9.5-point favorite. My Magic vs. Pistons player props today focus on two players who are struggling in this series. I'm betting that will continue as part of Wednesday's NBA picks and best bets.

It turns out that this isn't a good series for Pistons center Jalen Duren. After watching him closely in Game 4, it's clear that Duren struggles with the size of Orlando's frontcourt.

Duren is averaging 9.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists on 17.1% usage in this series. All those numbers are down from his regular-season production, including a 6.2% decrease in usage, 3.5 fewer field-goal attempts, and 2.3 fewer rebounds.

I'll fade Anthony Black's PRA line for the second straight game. Honestly, this wasn't even a sweat in Game 4. The Magic guard finished with two points and two rebounds in 18 minutes.

Black's production has dropped in this series. He's averaging just 5.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, failing to clear 13 PRA in all four outings. He's only averaging 22.5 minutes per contest, which is more than seven minutes below his regular-season average.

Despite all that, Black's PRA line has remained at this number throughout the series. I'll take advantage of an inflated line, especially when a shop like Pinnacle is trading this total at 13.5.

When it gets this deep into the series, it's important to remember that scoring will become more difficult. The totals will continue to drop as the series goes deeper. My advice is to see if player props move accordingly.

In this case, the total has dropped two points from Game 4, but the prop totals on Duren and Black remain the same amid their struggles. That feels like a mistake.
