The penultimate day of the NBA regular season features a completely full slate of games, as we identify the best NBA player props and best bets for Friday based on the best NBA odds.

It's hard to offer up a more jam-packed day of NBA games than Friday's slate, which features pivotal matchups that could impact both playoff positioning and the latest NBA championship odds with the end of the regular season looming.

In one of the more meaningful games, Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton looks to get back on track on the road at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse after a horrible shooting performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers the last time they played.

Our other three plays come from mismatches, though. Nic Claxton faces the New York Knicks and Brandon Miller faces the Boston Celtics. Finally, NBA MVP odds favorite Nikola Jokic and the title favorite Denver Nuggets take on the San Antonio Spurs.

To accompany our Nuggets-Spurs NBA player props and Raptors-Heat NBA player props, here are our NBA player props and best bets for Friday (NBA picks based on odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Friday’s NBA player props

Tyrese Haliburton Over 32.5 PRA vs. Cavaliers (-120 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Haliburton has faced the Cavaliers three times this season, most recently on March 18. He’s combined for at least 32 points, assists, and rebounds in each game. The only time he failed to go over this line, he shot 1-of-9 from 3-point range.

That game fell during a stretch in which Haliburton shot just 4-of-27 from deep over four games. He’s since corrected his shooting, and though he faces the seventh-ranked scoring defense in the league on Friday, he’s already proven that even on his worst night, he can come within a half-point of this number against the Cavaliers.

Brandon Miller Over 2.5 3-pointers vs. Celtics (-145 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

This is an expensive price, which is why this is a three-star play rather than four.

Miller has faced the Celtics twice this season. In November, he was just 1-of-4 from deep in an overtime loss. But last Monday, Miller went 3-of-6 from 3-point range in a 118-104 loss.

As the season has progressed, Miller has attempted more 3-pointers per game. In March, he averaged 8.3 per game, and he’s averaged 7.6 to start April. This is up from 4.3 in November when these teams first met.

Miller attempted at least eight 3-pointers in four of his last six games. With nothing to lose on Friday, expect a similar performance from him. And though the Celtics have a solid 3-point defense, they won’t be firing on all cylinders with nothing to play for.

Nic Claxton Under 10.5 rebounds vs. Knicks (-109 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A few of our best sports betting sites have this number listed at 9.5 with the Under priced at +100 or better. Though that is very tempting, especially with Under 10.5 listed at -135 on DraftKings, the price at Caesars is a gift.

Claxton is averaging 9.9 rebounds per game, and he has pulled down at least 11 in six of his last eight games. However, he hasn’t had consistent success against the Knicks this season.

He pulled down 17 boards in January, but that performance is sandwiched between eight and nine rebound games.

If the best price was -135 for Under 10.5, then we’d consider taking under 9.5. But as it stands, you can take Under 10.5 for low risk, have Claxton hit his season average, and still go Under.

Nikola Jokic 10+ assists vs. Spurs (+220 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐

Jokic’s total is set at 7.5 at all of our best sports betting apps. However, the best price available for that Over is -140. We’d still play the Over at that price, but there is simply more value in backing Jokic to hit at least 10 in this game.

Jokic has failed to dish out 10 assists in just a single game against the Spurs this season. In the last meeting between these two teams, Jokic recorded just six dimes. But the Spurs still allow 28.1 assists per game, the sixth-most in the league.

Jokic should finally have a huge game, and if he doesn’t, we’d rather have this lower-risk play than a high-risk, low-reward one.
