The Golden State Valkyries’ defense bends for no one. Throttling the Lynx on Monday night was the first time Golden State could genuinely believe in itself as a title contender.

If not for the back-to-back worry, the Valkyries may be road favorites against the New York Liberty. They are certainly the better team this season, the Liberty looking more and more like an exposed has-been.
