Since July 1 - a date chosen simply to focus on more recent stats, though still with a hefty sample size - Indiana’s offensive rating has ranked No. 1 in the league and is nearly five points per 100 possessions better than No. 3.
The Tempo defense has lost all sense of professionalism. Being the worst in the WNBA in that same stretch would be one thing, but Toronto is the worst by a large margin. The Tempo are 9.5 points per 100 possessions worse than the league's second-worst defense.
That math was double-checked. That is how bad Toronto’s defense is. And by no means is its offense up to the task of compensating, below league-average in that regard, too.

Caitlin Clark Over 24.5 points (-102)
Caitlin Clark is a flawed basketball player, but even her harshest critics must recognize that her volume shooting can yield a bonanza scoring output on any given night. Against a defense as wretched as Toronto’s, Clark is going to have more open looks than she knows what to do with.
The Fever routed the Tempo in mid-June, a 22-point win in which Clark shot just 5-of-15 from the field and 1-of-8 from deep. Yet she still scored 21 points.
Even a modest shooting night from the Indiana star should notch this points Over.
