Kimi Antonelli is well-positioned to win again after taking the pole position ahead of Sunday's race at Silverstone and winning the sprint race, but I'm looking to his teammate with my British Grand Prix predictions.

Antonelli is the easy favorite at -275, but George Russell is fresh off a win in Austria. He'll be looking to come through as an underdog and get past his fellow Mercedes driver again. He's getting the fourth-shortest odds ahead of the 10 a.m. ET event (ESPN).

I'm also featuring Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen among my picks for one of the fastest races of the season.

🏆 Pick to win British Grand Prix: George Russell

Russell enters the British Grand Prix in good form after winning his second race of the season. The Austrian GP victory was his first since winning the opening race of the season in Melbourne.

He finished second in the previous race and has avoided the poor luck that has hamstrung him previously. He's also committing fewer errors and has more control over a car full of pace and explosiveness.

Silverstone is the fourth-fastest track on the grid, which is conducive to another dominant Mercedes performance.

👊 Lewis Hamilton to beat Charles Leclerc

Hamilton has got the better of his Ferrari teammate in the previous five races and six out of eight overall. While he dropped to fifth in Austria, Hamilton finished second, second, and first in the three races beforehand.

He's bursting with confidence, and though I expect Ferrari to struggle on such a quick track, the Brit is in way better form than Leclerc.

Leclerc hasn't finished above eighth place in three races and only once in the previous five. Hamilton, meanwhile, hasn't finished lower than sixth place all season, a fate which has befallen Leclerc four times.

💡 British Grand Prix favorites

Providing the British Grand Prix odds and favourites, I offer analysis on which drivers have the best chance of winning on Sunday.

🏎️ Max Verstappen to finish in top 3

Red Bull should have an advantage over Ferrari at Silverstone thanks to the abundance of straightaways, and Verstappen is enjoying his best form of the season thus far, finishing fourth or better in three of the previous four races.

The exclusion occurred in Monaco, where Verstappen's RB22 "dropped dead" at the start of the race after the Dutchman enjoyed an excellent qualifying session.

He finished second at the Austrian GP, and all the signs point to another solid performance from the four-time champion.

💡 How I'm betting the British Grand Prix

While I'm backing Russell, Antonelli has every shot of winning his sixth race of the season. I'm leaning toward Russell, as I expect his excellent form to continue at Silverstone.

I also hope that racing at home will galvanize the Brit. He hasn't finished better than fifth place, which should motivate him to secure his first British GP victory.

Hamilton has been better than Leclerc for most of the season. While I don't love the short odds, I'm really confident about the pick.

Verstappen has been building over the last month or so, and his only finish below fifth place in the previous five races was because of the car, not his performance.
