⚾ Julio Rodriguez (Mariners) to hit a home run ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +500 via FanDuel (bet $10 to win $50)

Unfortunately, Rodriguez hasn't had the type of bounce-back season I hoped for when I bet on him to win AL MVP. After a disappointing campaign last season, Rodriguez once again owns an OPS in the low .700s after appearing to be one of baseball's best players during his first two MLB seasons.

However, one thing Rodriguez can still do is hit absolute rockets. His 114.7-mph max exit velocity ranks in the 95th percentile in the majors, and he does appear to be well on his way to crushing his home run total of 20 from last season, with seven through the first 40 games.

Rodriguez and the Mariners get a tasty matchup today, too, as Yankees starter Will Warren is just simply not good.

Warren's 93.3-mph average exit velocity against is among the worst in baseball, as is the 52% hard-hit rate batters are managing against him. He's done well to limit the long ball by forcing more grounders this season. But if J-Rod can elevate one today, it's getting nuked.
