My best UCLA vs. Oregon prediction focuses on how well both of these offenses have played this season. No. 13 Oregon quarterback Dante Moore has been ruled out for this contest, but he will be replaced by a capable backup, Dylan Raiola.

Oregon is favored by 11.5 points over No. 21 UCLA ahead of today's 3:30 p.m. ET game at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Ore. The game will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

Over 59.5 (-108 via DraftKings)

Oregon ranks fourth in scoring offense, averaging 47.5 points per game. While that average is significantly inflated due to scoring 84 against Portland State, this is still a team that has scored at least 31 points in all three of its other games.

Meanwhile, UCLA ranks sixth in scoring offense, averaging 44.8 points per game. Unlike Oregon, UCLA hasn't played an FCS team, instead facing three Power 4 opponents in its first four games. The Bruins have managed at least 45 points in each of those contests, topping 50 in their last two games.

📡 SBR Edge: Big yardage for Oregon and UCLA

Both of these teams have been excellent at picking up chunk yardage. UCLA ranks seventh in yards per play (7.4), and Oregon ranks 11th (7.12). If you're worried Raiola may bring Oregon's average down, he averaged 11.56 yards per attempt against USC.

Both defenses have performed poorly this season

If you remove the shutout against Portland State, Oregon is allowing 31 points per game. The defense has allowed at least 27 points in each contest against FBS competition, and despite allowing just 103 yards to Portland State, Oregon still ranks 13th in the Big Ten in yards allowed per game.

UCLA just held Maryland to three points, but this defense still allowed 38 to Purdue and 24 to California. Those two offenses rank 70th and 82nd, respectively, in scoring this year. UCLA ranks 14th in the Big Ten in passing yards allowed per game. Though Moore will miss this game, Raiola threw for 289 yards and two touchdowns against USC, so I have full faith in him in a great matchup.

Score prediction: Oregon 45 UCLA 35
