Though neither defense was great last season, Pitt ranked 32nd in yards allowed per game, while UCF ranked 37th. Mason Heintschel, who threw for 453 yards last week, started nine games for Pitt last year, and only three featured a final total greater than 55.
UCF rushed for 360 yards and seven touchdowns last week. Yet, I expect the Knights to struggle against a defense that allowed just 2.7 yards per carry last year.
This total opened at 51.5, but thanks to these two offenses combining for 132 points last week, the total has climbed six points.

Duke Watson to score a touchdown (+115)
Last week, Watson rushed just seven times, but he managed 110 yards and a touchdown. With Louisville last season, Watson struggled through injuries and the presence of Isaac Brown. However, the year before, he scored seven rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown. That production came on just 72 total touches.
Pitt allowed only 27 rushing yards last week but still gave up a rushing touchdown. While Pitt only allowed 12 rushing touchdowns last season, UCF has a run-first offense that should do most of its scoring on the ground.

I've already explained why I like the Under so much, so it's really just about what to pair with it. For Pitt to win, Heintschel will have to be outstanding. Last season, he threw for at least 300 yards in four of his six starts against unranked opponents. He's attempted at least 27 passes in nine of his 10 collegiate starts, and last week, Pitt proved it's a pass-first team when he attempted 41 passes in a 45-point win.
